I also hope that if you ordered the bus nav at £990 it doesn't mean you definitely get the old version!?
Hmmm nit sure, if it's before the march 10th will current build not new eek. Hit the brakes if you can.

A 16.5" screen would be huge. I suspect that whoever wrote the article got their inches and centimetres confused or added a "1" as 6.5" = 16.5cm!

True, but there it is:

- The bulletin said there'd be 3 levels still (Biz/Biz+/Professional) and gave prices for them all (including the £100 reduction in Biz)
- On the configurator, on Biz ED cars it's only Biz+ or Pro (thereby bumping price up), but on other models you can choose all 3.

Then again, on the Lex configurator there are now *no* Nav options to choose from, so maybe I just need to give up and give the 2 websites a chance to update with the changes.

Time to relax and stop panicking!!

Dunno? Looking at the configurator list, if the Apps were the only changes (sure it was), it would still leave the Biz+ with:

Remote services
Information plus
BMW Online services

Over just Biz. In all honesty, never understood the point of Biz+, as I don't think any of the above are worth the extra.

Nope it says business will have the connecteddrive services option, concierge service (information plus) & remote services!

In which case stumped. Just a case of me paying attention to only the bits that interested me. Sorry, I feel I've let you all down!

You haven't let anyone down!!

This is just very confusing, and although obviously this isn't serious in the big picture of things, it would still be very annoying to miss out on something by a matter of days/weeks!

Hopefully some clarity will come from somewhere!

Configurator site down completely now. Playing about with some 318d options, surprising how quickly I've resigned myself to it and find myself still getting excited by putting it together!

As my missus has pointed out to me, and as you said yourself:

Just still a bit miffed that our car scheme is so poor, given what comparative monthly rental charges can get elsewhere. Never mind, worse things happen at sea...

EDIT: one last hope for me is an upcoming review: on the back of a successful secondment, I might chance my arm and ask for a bigger contribution from the company. Is it possible to hear desperation...?

Explains why my car (initially, order placed with BMW by Lex on 30 Dec) had 21 March delivery, but when I changed it and Lex placed the revised order with BMW on 9 Jan, the delivery date changed to 18 April.

The individual wheel real tire pressure monitoring system is the upgrade of most interest to me. I wonder if that upgrade includes the UK?

It would be of geeky interest to see what the operational pressure of the tyres is... Well, to me anyway.

I am also quite interested in this, just for the geekness!

I assume it includes UK because it's written in English, and it's obviously not aimed at USA as they already have the TPMS standard, and they don't have bus nav!

Could be for Canada or Australia but if they got it surely we would first being a bigger BMW buying nation!?

Remember seeing this on dealer bulletin too, so assume it's UK.

Ah cool, that's definite then! Just hope i'll get it!

Think i'll probably just have to assume i'm not getting this upgrades, then if i do get them it's a bonus!

Probably be far too busy enjoying that 3l diesel to care too much about the electronics!

I doubt I'll get it. I'm due in build in a week or so... Build week 5 was the last I heard. Dealer by mid Feb for March 1st excitement... But as you say, 3L to play wraith! Other toys, meh...

I'd have been gutted if I'd paid the extra £365 that dealer wanted after November for the January price rise!

Agreed, especially with run flats have become lazy on checking tyre pressures and it does affect handling and economy (sad!) a quick tap of the I-drive sounds perfect and an overdue welcome change whoop whoop.
