Anyone tried these halogen -> Xenon+led aftermarket kit?

These are a huge improvement over the stock halogens that come with these headlight housings. The projectors inside of these headlights are actually really good, you just need a proper light source inside of them.

Installed these. I keep getting an error "right high beam failed" or "left high beam failed". Can this be coded out?

Yes, it can be done. My guy took a while to figure it out since the highbeam codes were in a different area than the low beam codes. After he did it, I haven't had a single error since.

Even if you get the error, your high beams will still work.

Thanks I sent goon a PM. Talking to him now. Looks like they are available so I'm going to take them off his hands. I had a problem with one of mine that I bought from an online retailer and they were being slow to get me a replacement, over a month now. So hopefully this solves the problem, because I like them and would hate to have to go back to OEM.

That's good you found one.... I was going to suggest Goon as well. I chatted with him about this light but didn't work out at the end (I wanted Chrome at the end). These lights were sold out everyone. Onc place quote me two weeks for shipment to come in. We have a suspicion EE is working on something else for the F30.... fingers cross

Hopefully they are! If so, I'll be buying them to replace my eagle eagles. I'll sell my chrome eagle eye housings if I ever do swap them out with anything.

Not sure if anyone has seen these but I saw these on Instagram from a user @rodspeed_inc. Don't know if this is same as RodSpeedF30. It's an amazing car originally a 328 with halogens turned projector with nice sleek line that seems to be a DRL. It would be great if someone could make some of these just to be different.

I am still to scare to have someone open up my light to do work on it

However if they make a pre-fab set I will be interested

Yeah I mean like a pre-made set like from Eagle Eye or somewhere. Idk just really sticks out different when seeing those lights

Yeah that would be real nice but def audi and maybe a little Dodge Charger or Honda CRV now lol. I just like this nice subtle line beneath.

It looks just ok, considering he had halogens, but remember we are bmw for a reason. We have the angel eye design that sets us apart from the rest. And even the few that do have angels (i.e. Challenger) they are told that they are copying bmws look.

It seems like the only ones available are only for the xenon (non-halogen) headlights...I'm guessing all halogen versions of this headlight are sold out everywhere...

I emailed several suppliers from Ebay in California about chrome halogen replacements.....they stated "they should have more in stock in early to mid August".

Their website is currently under going maintenance too which makes me think they're possibly adding new products. Every previous URL I went to, including specific pages for headlights, all link to the homepage now.
