Complete newbie here. BMW website says USB map update is not available for my vehicle and I need to pay for a yearly subscription for map update automatically. Is that not the case? So i could update the map myself using a USB if I could get a FSC code? Do we lose anything here if we don't do it the "official" way?

I have a 220i F46 gran tourer 2019.

Hi, if car is imported from US and i need to convert it to EU maps will FSC code work for any region?

Is any chance to get a FSC code?

What are my options with a 2019 G30, can I update and generate FSC codes? I can get specific model and version of everything today. Would love to update it like I did on my 135.

If you are wanting to load Europe LIVE map, only possible with a very expensive OEM Conversion FSC Code issued by BMW AG and Regional Coding.

Maps are not interchangeable. You can only run LIVE Map. Conversion Code is possible.

I am new to the whole mini nav update thing and don't want to break anything.. but it looks like my car hasn't been updated for a while as running:

RL_EntryNav_Nav_I16293A (Road map EUROPE Route 2016-1)

Does that mean if I can get my hands on the Road Map Europe West 'route' for 2024 I can just install this or do I need a code (last 7 of Vin: 2E14545)?

I have seen other people mentioning EVO 5/6 is this something that I can install or does it have to be like for like as I see EntryNav Route or EntryNav2 Way..? and to be honest it is a little confusing
