and some answers:
- the brake discs are bigger than standard; they need at least 18" wheels - driving experience: after 1 day, can't say much except that it drives very smoothly

Thanks
s2000jan I am interested to know how the initial throttle response feels. Both of my E60 530d's have felt as though there is a slight delay when applying the throttle and then loads of power which is a tad frustrating and I assume is down to turbo lag. The F30 320d I test drove felt instant every time you applied the throttle like a non-turbo petrol engine which was nice. I am hoping the 330d responds more like the 320d as opposed to my 530d ? Also, I am new to forums so can anyone advise on how you put the line at the bottom of my posts with info underneath? |

regarding 'how to put the line at the bottom' : you need to edit your signature in 'settings' (button next to your nickname top left of the screen)

330d have same brakes as 328i (EU/ROW spec). 335i have 4pot calipers plus 340mm discs upfront.

They looked to be the same part numbers when I looked on the RealOEM thingy. Are you sure they're different?

I hope Steve Sutcliffe tests the 330d as it was his autocar video review of the 328i that convinced me to move away from the 5 series.

335i have, as standard, 340mm front discs & fixed 4-pot calipers upfront. U may have looked at the part numbers for M-sport brakes cos for EU/ROW-spec they're the same regardless of whether u have 316i or 335i. |

My 335ix M sport 6mt was delivered to BMW Evere today (Belgium)...went by and looked at her..filthy but still gorgeous...damn the Belgian rules for insuring and registering a car before you can take possession. Will be 28th before I can take her home. Aghhhhh!
