Hmmm the spec sheet for Australia says that the only light colour for M-sport models is dakota veneto beige

It says oyster is only available with Sport and Modern lines... veneto beige for Luxury and M-sport lines

Oh that's why, in the US we get Ivory, Oyster, or Venetian Beige. I have Venetian Beige on my F30 and it has a much more yellow hue than what is in the above pic.

Hi. Ivory and Oyster are similar shades. I find the easiest way to tell the interiors apart in the F3X is with the color of the plastic trim/surrounds on the doors. With Ivory the plastic for the door pull, surrounding the door release lever, the window switches and the speaker grill, are all a contrasting black. For Oyster they are a matching "oyster." Cheers

Beautiful color! And thanks for the clarification. How do you like Oyster? I just ordered it on my 428 coupe w/ Estoril.

I like it a lot on the seats; I like it less on that bottom half of the dash. They're doing that part right on the 4 series using an all-black dash. Mine has Dark Graphite paint, which probably doesn't contrast with Oyster as strikingly as black, carbon, or even Estoril. I'm sure yours will look great.

It does get jeans dye on it a little - the seat starts to look blue - but it comes off with a quick spray of leather cleaner.

Might have been mentioned elsewhere, but I thought the new even-numbered models implied 2-doors and odd-numbers were for the 4-door sedans. It's getting more and more confusing...

it has been mentioned many many times.

even-numbered models are style-oriented, odd-numbered models are function-oriented. the 4gc is a 5-door in f32 dimensions.

it's a compliment to the car that the biggest complaint about the f36 is "my brain can't process it" but it's quite annoying at the same time.

I like it

My previous car (VW Golf R) had a speaker bolted to the firewall that did the same thing, and it sounded great when you were really on it. Unfortunately when you were just cruising around it made an annoying low drone so I disconnected it.

The BMW one is only active above 4000rpm I think so it's fake heaven for my naive ears
