I ended up finding a guy Josh from the Opticoat website as an authorized installer, website had some good examples of his work, said it was an 6-8 hour job, and could do it at my house. Thanks though,
He is coming on Saturday, I will let you know how it turns out. One thing he mentioned, was that with the Opticoating some finish waxes do not adhere very well to the coating, so if you are looking for Showroom/car show glossy finish it may not be a good fit. |

Other waxes and sealants don't last long at all. I top mine once in a while with carpro reload, but it's really not necessary. In fact some of them make it worse, as the car will take on properties of the topper, and not shed dirt/water as well as Opti Coat. |

only 250. He said it was normally a lot more but since the car was so new he said it would take less time to prep. He said he would save a lot on the claying process. I may end up giving him more to spend a little more quality time on my baby.

I have had opti guard out on mine. It is excellent. A story about my car is at:

First he washed the car, then clayed with Meguiars fine clay, Meguiars M205 polishing with Meguiars fine polishing pads using the Cyclo polisher. He also removed a couple fine scratches, and polished out the wash swirl marks. (Thanks dealer) After that he prepped with alcohol wipe then applied the Opticoat to the entire vehicle. Car is smoother than glass, and super reflective. Absolutely Gorgeous! Josh ended up spending 7 hours on the entire process. Pricing does vary depending on how much work you want done. If you want it wet sanded to remove factory defects, or the car is other than brand new it will take longer and cost more. Here is a photo of the finished product, |

Had 20% tint done all around Friday and had Opti Coat 2.0 put on today. I will take some pics tomorrow and post them. My guy even Opti Coated my wheels.
The process REALLY brings out the metallic. |
