definitely waiting for some conclusive data that shows the xph actually improves acceleration times.

so far your test is the only one I've seen asides from xph's claim of a .5 sec 0-60 reduction.
I hear ya man. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for more than .2 quicker 0-60. But honestly, to pick up .2 off an unprepped street with the TCU Flash not having time to adapt. I'd say it definitely won't make your car slower.

I'll have to get some times launching off the brake in D with Sport/Sport+ instead of using the LC. If that's been faster for you maybe there is more than .2 in it.

I am a 2013 f30 335ix pwg.

the xhp stage3 made me solwer for the 0-60(we test 0-100km/h). I had test them with stock turbo and MHD satge2

and I find the gearD launch is faster than the gearS LC.
because the stock and stage1 turbo had a bad torque with the high rpm.
redline rpm is suited for the big turbo

my best 0-60 is 3.47 0-100km/h 3.65. 1/8 7.4
stage1 turbo with stock tyres(slip).
the fastest for me is 2 gear launch 6000rpm shift.

the best LC 0-100km/h for satge1 turbo is
without XHP torque/launch control editor is 4.3
with XHP torque/launch control editor(40%,40%) is 3.9

I this really only available on Android? How does one flash this if you don’t have an Android device? I don’t wanna have to borrow someone’s device every time I want to flash an update.
Any ideas?

Let me know if you need any help. I have done it on my Mac using parallels. There are some good guides online. When I use it XHP sees the car and checks for compatibility. I haven't tried flashing though but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

Just go to Walmart and buy a Android smart phone or tablet for like $30-50. I bought a J3 Luna Pro android smart phone from there and its worked flawlessly for the xHP flashing.

So what’s the general consensus from those who have flashed XHP from BM3 TCU flash? Is it really a big difference in both upshifting and downshifting speeds? Has anyone changed the shifting speed values to the max?
Do you feel like it’s “lightning” fast, especially when downshifting or not?
I don’t think stock transmission downshifting speed is great.

I also saw on their website that you can adjust shifting speed slider towards maximum speed at the cost of some jerkiness when shifting which they claim is normal and not dangerous to the transmission.

I don’t really care that much about 0-60 times but more importantly the actual shifting speed and experience.

Greetings.. F30 EWG ~380hp to wheels.. that said,, just did my tranny service and after a few days driving I did XHP.. went straight to stage 3.. and I gotta say.. after my 50 mile lolly gagging driving ,, the best bang for the buck ive spent.. since my original custom tune.. car shifts amazing, and there is no,, best i can describe TQ converter ramp up.. it is is just on and pulls and shifts are solid and fast.. I only have another 50 miles on car after the first 50,, so haven't done any more in depth analysis but to answer your questions, shifting speed and experience.. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/im...gif:party0030:

Absolutely.. I would buy it all over again.. easy install, worked as expected and its just so much better... nothing scientific like the guys above yet.. haven't played with settings yet.. but just MHO..

By tranny service do you mean fluid and filter change? If so, what mileage did you do it at, about 60k like ZF recommends? Any idea how your fluid looked?

If you did service and XHP flash at the same time, any thoughts as so if the service is partly responsible for improvements in shifting (i.e., shift quality not necessarily speed).

Nope not at the same time.. few days apart,, i drive about 70 miles a day round trip.. the fluid was darker that the new but didn't "smell" bad or burnt.. but I admit I do drive my car... lol.. the fluid change brought me nice silky smooth shifts.. took some of the harshness out.. I did it at 69k .. had the kit since 61k.. lol. ..! from FCP

Anyway I gave it a good 100+ miles after fluid change.. just to make sure .. or really to give me peace of mind..

xhp makes it feel like im cabled to a freight train in every gear .. it just pulls, and shifts so much faster.. hope I answered your question.. fluid change is easy .. and starts a huge debate as seen elsewhere in forums .. no need for that here,, ;0) you can either do it or not .. its your car, but i know how i drive, and im increasing the load with xhp.. bigboost 3.4 turbo kit sitting on my table is next.. !

Does anyone have an idea what the "torque scaling" parameter actually affects/does? It's represented as a percentage in the custom launch control set up (same as allowable torque increase) but I've searched through the manual and forums and can't find a concrete answer.
