True enough, but there's still a noticeable price gap between the two.
Mine was approx £60k to build, I would spec an M3 to about £80k. It's enough of a gap to make you consider the value to be gained. I came from the M5 to the 340i so I'd probably done my M car time, although had there been an M3 touring to look over I could have been tempted

Voted for green, mainly because of this post by Quail :
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...9&postcount=44 Personally, I would have gone for an Alpina in green, if it weren't for the considerable price gap between a 340i and a B3... Ruby red is a good choice, too. Ah, decisions decisions ... On a more mechanical note, good call on the LSD! Have you considered the M performance package? |

As for the packages, yes! M-Perf 1 & 2, w/ Adaptive suspension & Exhaust. Also I found this Daytona Violet F80 which is breaking my heart. |

Ruby red is my choice but if you go green and are nostalgic about e36s then go Boston Green.

Something I'd expect on, I don't know, maybe Lexus, maybe some sort of "fast and furious" type of Japanese car, but not on BMW. Just my $0.02 on that particular choice, for whatever that's worth. |

Of your choices, I would pick Mora, then Oxford Green. All four are very nice colors, and I agree with other posters that for the premium you pay to get an Individual paint job, the grey is a little too plain.
If I was allowed to through an alternate into the mix, based on your other choices, Techno Violet is a good choice. |

I'm going to O'fest this year, we will have to wait and see where it will be next year.

Update: Ordered the car. I ended up going with none of the above optioned colours (go figure lol) The car is officially going to be a Individual Lilac Metallic 340i M Sport, Amaro Brown interior, and CF trim. (6spd + M-Perf LSD) Now the wait begins!!!!
Pic'd below is the only other Individual Lilac (to my knowledge) |

Well, I couldn't do that, but I applaud your choice anyway. You will certainly be unique! LSD is a great, too. Have been considering it, but I'd be over budget. I'm ordering Tanzanite Blue 340i 6MT with Track Package. Here's another I found with the help of Google... |
