I used to have something like these for my F31.
Having crocked my back a couple of times changing wheels I was happy with them. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360586790184 |

Hardly a gizmo but a thumbs up from me for Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailler, which I use after washng the car. Quick and easy to apply if you like a smart but not too shiny finish but can't be a*sed to spend ££ on products and hours on the job!!

But does the "Brilliant Shine Detailer" translate as "Restore With Brillo"??

It's been a superb tool; I've got a 5L sphere one also and like you; trying to empty a 3.0l straight 6 petrol or diesel, it just gets messy with having to stop the flow to empty etc... I have extended the drain line as it's not long enough to leave the pump on the floor and reach to the bottom of the sump etc I used this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163863949...r=463442863273 It fits over one of the drain lines that comes with the pump and onto the pump connection perfectly Means you can have it set like this then:

As per the link; ID is 6mm, that's what connects to them tightly and fits down the tube perfectly

Ahh, gotcha, I just assumed 6mm was the default size on the listing, I didn't realise you could deep link to a specific SKU on eBay. I'll get a length of that ordered too, ta.

You can't; the whole purpose is to use the dipstick tube rather than crawling underneath
