That must be mental to drive! 40k on a used GTR then 15k on the stage 5 kit, that would be one hell of a machine.

Some are as cheap as 30k, and with alot of parts being replaced in the stage it'd be an extremely cheap super car killer for 45k!

A GTR is on my shopping list too, either next year or 2017. I had one on a 24 hour test drive a few months ago and I must admit with 0-60 in sub 3 seconds, unless you're going to track it, there's probably no need for a Litchfield conversion.m IMO.

Yes but you'd always want a "good one" wouldn't you.

In the summer I went with a mate to the PEC at Silverstone to drive the 911 GTS, I got a call from him 2 days ago saying come down to the OPC I'm going to do something silly.

And after an hour of discussion he bought this: (and I'm now obsessing about one sadly)

Mexico blue GTS:

I think this is when the salesman kneed him in the bollocks with the trade in offer.

This week I've mainly been obsessing over whether to chop the f31 in and get an M5. With the new 5 series around the corner there must be some cracking deals to be had this year. Just not sure the boot is big enough and whether I'd miss the hearse.

That would mirror me 335d xdrive touring to M5.

Phoned up Nissan UK and said "find me a dealer that will let me have on for 24 hrs....please".
Said I was a genuine buyer in the next 12 months but wasn't going to commit until I had a proper drive in one to see if I could live with it. Took the a couple of days, but they came back to me and said Westway in Manchester would oblige.
Picked up Saturday am, dropped off Sunday am.
Brilliant service from the GT-R guy at Westway and he will definitely see my business if I pull the trigger.

Did the same with Jaguar and got and F-Type Sport for the same time frame. Concluded that that one wasn't for me though. All show and no go. I'm sure the 'R' is better, but just wasn't overly keen on the inside for the money.

How are you finding the boot space? (Praying you say it's a lot smaller and not great or else I'll start pricing one up again)
