So far the interior changes are quite subtle too.

A little more subtle satin chrome trim here and there, the door ambient lighting bars are now matched with the highlight trims and a new cupholder design.

Better hope they tuned the chassis better, though we know the B-series engines are coming under the hood!

Is that a sliding cover for the cupholders? That would actually be a good upgrade.

It looks like it, though was kind of hoping it would look more integrated like the F25's where it has ridges rather than looking like a sheet of plastic/fabric.

Though I guess have to see how it is once it's officially revealed/seen in person.

Things pretty grim, if a new cupholder cover is the most visible upgrade there is to talk about. Especially in a car with an interior seen as its primary weakness versus its main rivals

Lame interior upgrades. I was hoping they would have addressed some of the cheapo plastics.

Hopefully they give us better interior color options, like saddle brown with m-sport. But knowing BMW's decision making process as of late, they will probably restrict m-sport to beige interior only.

About 8% better economy for B58 compared to N55. Not bad considering the extra power.

(Yeah, I know, US buyers won't care. The rest of BMW markets will though.)

I was hoping for less economy so I could brag to the guys at the Burger King drive-through window (after ordering my triple Whopper and double order of freedom fries) that my new LCI 340i had 321 HP and got only 16 MPG combined.

In the interior I noticed:
-Chrome window switch trim ala 5-Series
-Sliding cupholder
-Deleted ashtray in front of cupholder
-Matching door line to dash line
-New climate control surround
-Sport steering wheel seems to now be covered in Nappa leather instead of the heavily grained leather

I have to say I am a little disappointed in this arena. I have hope for other changes, but this interior need a bit more than what we're seeing in these photos.

Overall, I might get a little more excited with more pictures, and with the M-Sport trim.

Yes, I don't know what's happened. The link to the Australian new item is dead and its disappeared from the website (drive.com.au). Maybe they have jumped the gun in releasing details. It was interesting that the Australian news item which appeared several hours ago contained details that hadn't yet been released in the live broadcast.

Don't forget the new shiny metal trim surrounding the air vents.

I think this is the mildest LCI I have seen in recent memory. Let's hope that the steering and suspension have received significant upgrades, but I am not holding my breath. I was also hoping against all odds that they would release an M340i that would slot between the F30 and F80, but that does not appear to be in the cards.

A quick search again. Here's the new url

http://www.drive.com.au/photogallery...507-3vj00.html

By the way, I was really hoping for Ventilated seats, extended lcd to the left tachometer and leather dash (it disappeared from configurator).

Am I asking too much BMW..?

Don't think that's what multifunction instruments would look like - more likely that's full black as is now...

I wonder how long it'll take, if it's even possible anymore, for tunes to be released... I'm probably gonna get this car since my lease will be up in 9 months

HVAC controls now seem to have white illumination, looks like they've made it all white during the day and can't see them losing orange at night.
