Has anyone managed to get the mirrors to fold and unfold when locking/unlocking the car on aF33 without the comfort access ? Mine is 430i June 2016

The above noted coding works with my 2015 F34 without CA. It should work with yours if those code locations are in your SVT.

As long as you have driver's door button, you can code windows & mirrors via keyFOB.

I do have the button to fold , had a guy trying to coded but it wouldn't fold on the keyfob.

If I can already fold my mirrors in with a 2sec hold on the lock, does that mean I only need to change the time delay to "00" so it folds everytime with a single lock press. (No need to hold).

The coding for the folding worked for me, but when I tried to change the value in the FEM_BODY 3053 KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN there is no option in edit mode other than 0F.

You do not change drop-down. You directly edit werte value.

You can reduce or eliminate initiation delay to start movement. Mirrors are all or nothing, but windows you must maintain contact/pressing button until desired level reached.

You must do the same as almaretto says and and:
FEM BODY 3053 FH CABRIO VERDECK MODULE. Change aktiv to NICHT AKTIV.

Hi from a newbie in the UK!

I've been following this thread as I've been trying to code my F33 so that the mirrors fold with the fob.

It's a 2017 build, with elec folding mirrors with the control button on the drivers door, but it doesn't have Comfort Access.

I'm using Bimmercodes app with a Vgate 2 wifi OBD and have made the in app purchase to unlock the features.

I'm a complete novice coding but had some success coding other things in the car (mirror lights on with reverse, video in motion...etc) so I'm fairly confident.

I've followed the instuctions in this thread and tried everthing the contributers have suggested, but I just can't get the mirrors to fold with the fob and don't know what I'm doing wrong!!

I managed once to get them to fold, but ended up taking out the elec cabrio hood functionality so rolled back to the back-up in Bimmercodes.

Has anyone had any success doing this themselves that would be willing to guide me through it, or could give me some other suggestions? I'm reluctant to take it into my main dealer as they have quoted me £180 to do the coding.

Bimmercode version I bought translates all of these to English. I know where to find FRONT BODY 3110 but I don't know enough German to figure out what ASP_MAX_GESCHWINDIGKEIT_BEIKLAPPEN means. There doesn't seem to be an option in the BCode app to switch language.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was thinking of the non-expert mode. I did however change the values in FEM_BODY as directed but still no folding-mirror love. I do not have Comfort Access or whatever it's called.

MAX_GESCHWINDIGKEIT_BEIKLAPPEN means MAXimum_speed_fold in, it is the maximum speed at wich you can fold in the mirrors during driving.

GESCHWINDIGKEIT_AUTO_AUSKLAPPEN Means speed_auto(matic)_fold out, this is the speed at wich the mirrors fold out automatically when you drive off (if they weren’t folded out already).

Edit: I have a 2013 f30 without CA and used the same coding as in your quote (after retrofitting the new mirrors), I just didn’t touch the values regarding the speed for unfolding/folding and it works great.

Maybe a stupid question but, you do have electrical folding mirrors don’t you? It won’t work if the mirrors don’t have the motors inside them... (no offence, just asking since you are new to the forum)
If retrofitted: are you sure you connected all the wires correct?

Heh. Yes I do, factory-installed. I didn't alter the speed/timing params.

Since I started coding I've found a few things don't "take" right away like enabling Bluetooth audio which magically started working the day after. So maybe this is one of them.

Majority of coding takes affect immediately. A few, like coding trunk on early firmware, take up to 30 minutes to work.
