So I lifted the cover in my trunk and saw this:

I think it is a combox.. Now how can I code this thing to allow for Enhanced Bluetooth so that I can stream music from my iPhone 5S

Change 6NH to 6NK and VO Code Combox and Head Unit.

this is my first coding ever. there is no CMB_MEDIA. it must be the missing component in the HU_ENTRY but HU_NBT may have it. i will order HU_NBT shortly.

Ok, then you have no Combox, so you can't have Enhanced Bluetooth.

With NBT, the Combox is built-in, so you only need to code HU_NBT, as there won't be a standalone CMB_MEDIA.

I'm in the same position (may acquire a 2013 F30 w/o Enhanced BT but odds have the combox in the trunk). He saw the combox in his trunk, why couldn't he code Enhanced BT?

Hunh? @tinfoil has Combox in his trunk. He has not reported back on his coding of Enhanced Bluetooth.

@izen has no Combox, thus no Enhanced Bluetooth.

Does coding 6NH to 6NK also provide the ability to use the white iPhone cable instead of the Y-Adapter or is that something different as well?

Looks like you have a MY2014, which has the new NBT head unit. All Enhanced BT functions are built in with NBT.

Does coding 6NK activate the usb cable functionality. I can confirm that this MY2013 has the combox (and can be coded to 6NK) but the white iphone cable does not currently work (pre-coding)

609 - Navigation
610 - HUD
6AK - BMW Online
6AM - RTTI
6AP - Remote Services
6NR - BMW Apps
6NS - Enhanced USB/Bluetooth/Smartphone

See, you actually have 6NS, which replaced 6NK.

I´ve got an F31, they were the first ones to get the NBT, but I didn´t get the nav neither did I choose the enhanced BT since I didn´t want to lose any audio quality (reason I chose HK-sound). This means I´ve only got the standard handsfree BT, but would I by any chance be able to code or activate enhanced BT or would it be depending on the NBT unit?
I´m curious since it is possible to get only the enhanced BT without any nav at all. But, does this mean there are 2 combox solutions for the newer F3x; 1. The known one where it´s baked into the NBT when u get nav and 2. A separate combox when u only want the E-BT without NBT-nav? Or do I have a dorment NBT-unit sitting there without me knowing

Just read your SVT with E-Sys, and if you have CMB_Media, then you have Combox.
