what's wrong w/ a 235 on a 10? used to run 245 on a 10.5. On the other hand, running a 10 with 235 in the front is ridiculous because that's not gonna fit unless you want to tear your fenders apart.

Max i see on the F30 is around a 9.5 and even that might or might not work because high offsets will hit the struts and low offsets will hit the fenders. Just gotta find the right concave rims with the right offset. Tire wise, 225/35/19 should be able to pull it off.

Regarding 20s, might have to go 225/30/20 or 215/35/20 to stretch it

What works and what looks okey (to most people) are not the same thing.
I have a lot of people bashing my tires and calling them stretched and they are 245's on 9" rims...

235's on a 10" wheel will look stupid if you ask me and most other people. But there is always people that disagree.

My 9" front wheels are already outside the fender and has very little clearance on the inside. So a 9.5" might work if you are into fitments like you describe above (which in my book isn't a working fitment).
