Finally!
there she is--off the VA coast. Per Baltimore ports, this is ETA at 8am...based on this, looks like it will be a little sooner than that.
with past cars of mine, ships that have gotten there a little earlier, usually end up anchoring off the VA beach area--so it'll be interesting to see if the BH does the same for a bit-my bet is that it does before continuing on later on today--as the Dundalk terminal area is still packed right now .. anyways, i guess the good news is she's finally in the U.S...hopefully no more delays before she leaves for GA. |

Independence II is at the port, Don Juan and Bishu are a close to each other for 2nd with the DJ ahead. Does anyone know if all 3 vessels are carrying BMW's? Truthfully, I don't know if it will make a great difference within the timing of the 3 vessels. I'm going out on a limb to say that once the cars are unloaded, there will be some wait time before customs will get to them. There may be a bottleneck at the unloading, but I think it will even out during customs check. Going out on a limb again to say that once the cars are waiting for ground transportation allocation, that all cars will then have another wait time which will equal everyone else out. Just my thoughts.

Yes all 3 have BMWs for sure.. Customs process is as simple as paperwork .. Takes a few minutes.
Ship is still a good 8-10 hours away. Will prob begin work on it in the a.m. Will update you guys on that tomorrow. Priorty one cars will get ahead of other dealer cars at vpc. Then getting a truck is the next issue- im still thinking next weekend for me-- being 3 hours from port.. Fingers crossed |
