Now it's getting random..😂
Last BMW I owned - 440i GC with performance pack. Lovely looking thing, if I say it myself. Turned back to look all the time!

I really wanted a 440i GC (still do); just couldn't find one in budget when I was looking Dec 2022 and then settled on my F31 Typical that a few months later a few came up that ticked the boxes

They're E38 Style 37s, so 18x8 and 18x9.5; they do sit better on the E39 once bored out to fit the hub. Heavy though Had the E39 Style 37s refurbed in Ferric Grey on my Jap import 540i and with 12mm spacers; they sat much better as they do sit in a touch too much really (this is a before pic):

I was just looking at them on Autotrader a few weeks back... am looking for something cheap that I can use for a runabout and for work... and I was thinking one of these might be a bit different...

Went out to play Golf in New Brighton today in the Golf, not a carpark but I did take a look back, quite a handsome car, very subtle in its aggressiveness.
Naturally I did the obligatory pops and bangs through the Mersey Tunnel with the sunroof open |

It's ridiculous that they won't cover you, i had no issues whatsoever with Admiral with the M Performance bits, springs, wheels and exhaust. Very small addition to my premiums too.

Yeah just over 200 miles from 100 quid, but I only use it at the weekend, and it's more than worth both that and the £700 tax for the visceral noise that almost no car after around 2012 can match. I'm very close to getting a carbon plenum to really get the most unique and amazing aural experience from it, just need to be careful with spending with my wedding coming up in August. |
