I've had a https://www.hatchbag.co.uk/ for the last 18 months and it seems pretty bullet proof.

No worries, here you go:

https://www.bootliners-uk.com/bl/land-rover/discovery

I can't yet vouch for them in practice - not even unpacked them yet. However I researched a fair few and these seemed well reviewed, 4.5-star Trustpilot score, etc.. There is a lot of cheaper crap out there. These seemed a fair price (£100-£150 depending on how you spec them). Very configurable in terms of whether you want a bumper flap, rear seat split/fold, extending section for when the seats are down, etc.

Happy to give you a proper review once I can use them in anger - might be a while...
It looks like the same brand we've got for the X3.

Very good quality, fits perfectly and all Velcro's into place.

Bizarrely some hot tub manufacturers are out of stock of their basic models - was idly speculating about the possibility of building a wooden wood-fired job in the garden until I realised (a) the materials would cost almost as much as a pre-made one and (b) I’m shit at carpentry

SLI and Crossfire are dead. As 2080tis will be when nvidia ampere cards come out. £2.5k wasted me thinks.

Just blown a few hundred quid on the clean your car website.

The Gyeon and Gtechniq stuff is great, but it isn't cheap. Bought enough stuff to re-do all the cars, including windscreen sealants, wheel sealants, and some bits and pieces for prepping in advance and maintaining afterwards.

Lockdown feels like the perfect opportunity to do it all!

As long as they’re garaged, my car was cleaned and then put straight in the garage and it’s still perfect, the wife’s cleaned at the same time is left outside, hasn’t been used and is already covered in shat and dust etc

Or maybe that’s the point

The M4 lives in the garage, so always feels very worthwhile keeping it looking mint. But it's more about the simplicity of cleaning, and the protection these products offer. Having windscreens that bead water so well you don't need to use the wipers is also pretty damn cool.

I recently spent £160 on a decent pair of bluetooth headphones for the daily commute.

Used once

I wasn't planning on letting anyone else use it. Besides, it's good to have a robust immune system. Did you never eat dogshit of the pavement as a laddie?

Balls, done it again! The American fridge freezer we need for our kitchen fitting (when it ever happens now) has just come on too good a deal to pass up.

Christ knows how I’m gonna get it in on my own since it’s a doorstep delivery, dimension wise it’s ok it’s just it’s 100kg! Any bright ideas?

Have you got any nylon straps - from roof bars etc ?

Slide the straps underneath - much easier for two people to lift it that way, rather than physically trying to get your arms round it.

Dimensions are fine it goes in, doors may save a few kg mind.

It’s getting over the lip of the door, approx 15-20cm up with just me and the missus who can’t lift it, gonna be fun

Do have some Thule straps, and also a ladder platform so might be able to slide it up that

A shimmy movement is what’s needed, it always works
