My Breitling was direct from a store in Wall Street NYC, which felt cool.

The Rolex was from Watchfinder - I tend to window shop on their website daily. Service was fantastic.

Absolutely love it, been looking at these myself for a while, got myself a Garmin Fenix plus titanium at the weekend for daily wear exercise etc, but still looking at one of these, if you don't mind me asking after all your research what's the ballpark figure I should be looking at, discount etc. and any recommendations on good dealers to try. Many thanks Dan.
Hi Dan, I just went to Beaverbrooks as it was my first real watch and I wanted a small part of the boutique experience without the price of the [omega] boutique experience. Plus I wanted the warranty, box etc. That said I’ve been looking at speedmasters also for ages and would not hesitate buying from the omega forum (some really reputable sellers) or used via watch finder. Buying used wouldn’t bother me but depends on the watch.

If you search around you can get the new seamaster grey market (no warranty cards) for over 15% off RRP in places like jomashop etc. I got just over 10% on this one.

Looks awesome! The refreshed look is very refined now.

I've pretty much mentally decided the only watches I'm having moving forwards will be Seamaster, maybe PO's mainly.

Lovely watch MSCD

I was very torn between the two but went for the safer black as it’s my first big boys watch. Agree on the bracelet it’s very comfortable and the quick adjust thing is great.

Yep the black is a fantastic looking watch too. I have a Speedy with a black face and liked the silver face. I have a blue GMT Diver too so have my bases covered!

Is that a new model? My limited knowledge but I don't think I've seen that before.

As Andrewthefirst said it is the new Omega Diver 300.

Interest to see the Omega Apollo 11 50th in SS - my AD (OB) said details coming out on the 18th March (my guess is another Speedy Tuesday.... )

Have my deposit down - and it is not going towards the Moonshine Gold one!

I received this the other day... but not wearing it!

For the Garmin fans here, looks like Fenix has been ousted by MarQ. 46mm some of them!

Much nicer looking Smartwatches IMHO...but WOW at what price about £1400 to £2400 for the Driver version WTAF?? These date very quickly in my mind as they're hardly collectable, each if 1/2 price of lifetime keeper, a bit bonkers!

My dream watch but so far away from me budget wise, any colour dial would do me.

Very nice, blue dial for me! They wear quite big though, have you tried one on? I found it wouldn’t easily slip under a shirt cuff as it is quite thick

No I've not tried one on, I have a 45.5mm 2500D planet ocean so I'm used to a big watch the SkyD is 42mm and similar in height and lug to lug length to the PO at 14mmx51mm.

But it's OK as I'm only dreaming.

Oh if you’re used to a PO you know what you’re getting in to. The SS Skydweller could almost be considered good value with that movement and not having to pay the precious metal premium

Bonkers. No one buys a smart watch for longevity. The cheapest is £1399. Considering how many bugs affect Garmin hardware at the moment, their inability to fix them or introduce even more when they do, there is no way I would drop this sort of cash on these no matter how good they look. Just daft.

Anyone ever come across the brand March Lab? French and sold in France, Asia and America. I saw some last year on holiday in La Rochelle and was taken by them, but didn't order one. Don't sell them in the UK.

I like the 70's styling, not mega expensive, about £1k to £1.5k for an automatic, or £500 for battery powered.

As I said, anyone owned one, and if not, anyone got an opinion on the styling?

Each to their own on styling, not sure I'd want a French display even if I do have intermediate vocabulary for the country.

If you want something a bit different you can get some great Bell & Ross models for about that investment level.

It's the same as a Tag, or a lot of other watches, the days can be displayed in French or English. It's just shown in French from their website.

Looked at Bell and Ross, don't like them much. It isn't really about the money, I was drawn by some of their retro 70's styling.
