Anyone ever come across the brand March Lab? French and sold in France, Asia and America. I saw some last year on holiday in La Rochelle and was taken by them, but didn't order one. Don't sell them in the UK.

I like the 70's styling, not mega expensive, about £1k to £1.5k for an automatic, or £500 for battery powered.

As I said, anyone owned one, and if not, anyone got an opinion on the styling?

Each to their own on styling, not sure I'd want a French display even if I do have intermediate vocabulary for the country.

If you want something a bit different you can get some great Bell & Ross models for about that investment level.

It's the same as a Tag, or a lot of other watches, the days can be displayed in French or English. It's just shown in French from their website.

Looked at Bell and Ross, don't like them much. It isn't really about the money, I was drawn by some of their retro 70's styling.

Working from home... casual watch day. This came Monday. An Elliot Brown Holton. Designed for a branch of the British Military (SBS allegedly).

Might be passable with a normal crown but that is hideous.

I am trying to justify an Apple Watch for wearing in the office and for general fitness stuff. I have a Garmin Fenix but fed up with the bugs. Omega will be kept for evenings.

Basel world tomorrow, everyone will eagerly await the reveal of the next Rolex they can't get hold of, expect a S/S sports watch you can't buy along side a diamond & ruby encrusted monstrosity you won't want to.

Basel 2019

I read a new Yachtmaster , A tweaked BLNR with Jubilee and also a Bi Colour Seadweller , that was RPR prediction and Philipp normally is there or there abouts

I wanted some new tweaked Submariner

Rumours of a new Milgauss too. I can't like the jubilee bracelet on anything, no matter how hard I try. It just looks 'old'

Tudor supposedly launching a "new" submariner, and some kind of daytona-date type too (that looks hideous from what I've seen). Glad I have my GMT

Tag Heur Monza.

The original (13 years old) brown alligator strap was looking very worse for ware. So I took the plunge on an eBay blue perforated leather that was apparently size for the Monza.

Hmm it was an epic 2 day effort getting the adjustment strap through the narrow clasp. Finally sorted so the original clasp is all intact! I'm liking the sporty blue much more. Some life left in the Monza yet!!!

Went to a technician day at Omega Boutique and had the Speedmaster cleaned up (needs a service though!)

Put the rubber strap on my Seamaster

Been told the 50th Apollo 11 anniversary Moonwatch in steel will be announce on or around 15th May... subject of course to change.

A snip at £21400.

I liked the Patek Phillipe then read the price. £173620. WTF.

Back with a Garmin, this one is the Instinct. Looks very Casio G Shock and it sort of is. Picked this one as it's so much lighter (and cheaper) the Fenix. Just no VO2 Max.
