very small gains for such high price, how is this justified even to MPPK? (i dont even mention JB)

Answered earlier in the thread. After m3/m4 the x28 (4 cylinder) will be the next applications out. They are targeted as an October release but that is just the target date. A lot can happen good or bad in that amount of time to push the release forward or backward.

This is just plug and play right? Just for reference, 8 years ago when I tuned my Legacy GT to stage 2, I probably spent close to that on an Accessport, UP, and DP to get 55+ HP and 100+TQ. And this requires zero hardware mods whatsoever. |

I hadn't been in the market for one, but I would now purchase a Dinan tune for my 2015 X3 xDrive35i- if you'd make one (and I don't think I'm alone). |

Bottom line is you don't feel the value is there than you don't have to purchase it. It's up to each individual to decide what the best tuning solution is for them given the variables that are most important to them. We simply provide one such option. |

A bench flash implies the ecu was taken out of the car and a physical change was made to the ecu in addition to software. Dinan software is strictly software with no soldering or anything like that done to the ecu itself.

Ugh. Fc4 this answer is for you as well. It must have been late as I mistyped earlier. The intercooler is what is being developed at the moment not the oil cooler. I Would be surprised if an oil cooler was not in the plans however. Sorry about that misinformation.

Just fyi...I am currently traveling and my reception on my phone is spotty at best so if I suddenly stop answering you will know why. I will definitely try to answer as many things as I can albeit the response may be delayed given my current status.

Don't know if the MPPK number is valid or not but my 335is dynod WHP within a few of the advertised BHP rating suggesting the car was underrated by BMW. Automobile mag did back to back tests of two N54 one N55 all factory rated at 300BHP & all 3 had different WHP numbers.

All numbers given for dinan tronics are based on the difference in measured stock to what our tune did on our test vehicle. We provide a graph showing exactly what we measured for both stock and with tune on each product page. The hp and torque rating given earlier in the thread is a real number not derived by including the under rated factory rating but the delta we measured from stock to tune. Not sure why we got away from these graphs the last generation of cars but I am glad that we are back to providing this data like we did in the distant past. |

Worth is debatable as well. Some people feel a warranty is a must and is incredibly worthwhile. Some people don't care and are just looking to put up the highest number on the dyno. Worth is very subjective considering what is important to that individual. We pride ourselves on drivability and a tune that safely delivers usable power and is just as fluid as a stock vehicle. Unfortunately there isn't a number to measure drivability like there is power so the only way to tell is to drive it. I would encourage anyone to reach out to their local dinan dealer and see if they have a demo vehicle available for test drives. I'm a firm believer that you don't really understand the difference till you have driven a dinan vehicle and experienced the dinan difference first hand.
