You guys can say what you want about the new f30....but I just saw the new f30 335 at Princeton BMW (NJ) earlier tonight and it is terrible! The interior looks like an Acura, and even with it being like that.....it was actually the best part of the car! The front is terrible, the headlights are terrible.....smh Thank you BMW for ruining the 3. Long live the e9x because you made it so much more desirable!!! the wheel gap seems like 2 inches higher....guess im going to either get an e9x M or another n54 335!

is this the first ever F30 with non stock rims? If so, congrats!
Few things that look a bit concerning though: holy wheel gap and 18s are too small for this car; F30 seems to come with high offsets.. so concavity may be harder to get; that front bumper license plate in US is like "WTF" honestly. Correct me if I'm wrong on those..

Those 18s look to small. Guess its going to have to be 19s. Other than that, i love the car.

theres 20'ers in the accessories brochure for the f30. So...maybe thats what the gap is all about. The 20's are pretty nice too. They're a pretty penny though. plus 2k.

We put 20's on the car during the studio shoot and it looked good. Suits this bigger 3 series well. Can't wait for coil overs/springs to become available.

you dont have to opt for it if you dont like it...
i think it's a nice option to have, it's not for everyone, but at least some can get it... Personally i saw it in person, but the novelty will fade out quite fast... i got tired of it after 2 min ... But otherwise the Modern line is a great addition to the 3 Series, i love the oyster color... but too afraid with my dirty hands... i am still young, playing in the sand box... not yet a grown up retiree person who is always clean with a very sedentary life...

Saw one yesterday at the dealer in Boulder, CO. A 335i sport model. I am now convinced. They are much sharper in person.

Motor Trend Test Results F30 328i w/ 8-speed auto box http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...rt_first_test/
"Our eight-speed automatic-equipped tester blew through 60 mph in 5.6 seconds and ran down the quarter-mile in 14.2 seconds at 97.8 mph." Compared to a six speed F30 335i tested by Car & Driver peformance at 5.3 to 60 and 13.8 in the quarter ... (although I am certain that the 8-speed auto 335i will be faster than any six speed version going forward) BMW seriously must do something about the 335i performance now !

Another and much nicer reason would be that underrating the power output results in lower end-price in heavy taxed markets. (Here, in Norway, a base-spec 328i Sport line is about 110 000 USD...) |
