Were they the Track days? I've heard like the z23s or whatever are bad, but have heard these are great. There's a thread on the F80 forum about these holding up at COTA. I also have 3 track buddies running these on a heavy ass scat pack and a few Camaros.

My stoptech sport pads were the perfect balance between street and track, little dust too.

Turns out the PowerStop Track Day pads squeel and squeak like a freight train. I have greased them twice with 2 different products - no luck. I think I am going to track them this Saturday and then switch them out unless someone can give me a solution to the squeaking.

ere is how both of my front tires look after 3 track days; this is my outer edge. The track is very technical. My rears look pretty good.
All tires are 5/32" Current Alignment Specs:

Looks like my passenger tension arm is leaking fluid.; car is wobbly as well. My other one went out at ~50K miles and now this one ~63K. I am going to replace it along with the lower control arms on both sides, just to be safe. I am hoping I can do it without a lift but we will see.

You should invest in stoptech pads. I ran stoptech sport pads and they were absolutely great for my power level, the track I went to had 3 hairpins and one straight and they didn't not fade at all.

Yes I do not think I am done yet. If i keep this car, which i plan to, I am going to upgrade the turbo. Its good to know that more kits are coming out soon. Also, I was able to replace all of the front control arms, however, the car is still shaking but only at 80+. It has to be my tires now, the tread is very low and the side walls are gone.. I will be getting new wheels and tires next year.

I may just pick up a members used f80/2 pads on here because those seem to be pretty adequate. I will look into stoptech as well though. Do you have the specific model?

I use these front and back. By far the best pads for what I do (occaisonal tracking with street as well) they will never squeal (unless they're low on pad of course) and the dust isn't bad at all. I have not felt any fade on the track.

Well, with winter approaching, I am going to be storing this car and driving my e90 328. I really only do this to save money on insurance lol. With that being said, I will be needing new tires for this car. I need the best street-able tires I can get. I am leaning on getting some 4S' in the spring. What are you guy's thoughts? I was going to get a set of re 71's as well but i feel like when i drive a few hours to the track, they will wear down more than i would like.
