Interesting, I guess you were tested by the camera to find that the sound was too loud, and you were followed up for investigation. I think the original exhaust of 120 should be 70mm, which affects the speed of exhaust |

pretty much all BMW fuel system parts for last 15 years are e85 safe, so e30 or e20 is no issue all, and most pump gas is e10 anyway, they sell these cars all over, some in brazil where they run e85, where I am from in Canada by law all fuel is e10, and they plan to increase it every year up to e15 in the next few years, many places in USA are the same, I think China as well most gas you buy is already e10 per government mandate.
I would run not more then e15 without a custom tune that has increased fuel volume however, as if you run e10 you will see about 5-8% higher fuel trims, e15 you will see about 10-12% higher trims. You only have about a +/-20% windows until you may start getting issues. Hence why e15 is as high as you want to go without a custom map. Best to increase the e content and check your trims as you go, if they are correcting by more then 15% on a pull back it off. |

anyone have experienced with manic motorsport tune?
i heard its quite popular on MINI, but the company has been dissolved But now the once tuner of Manic company, offered tune for BMW and MINI, which in the same tier as custom tune.

I have 12k miles on BM3 stage 2, no issues thus far. I've noticed the occasional idle blip at low rpms when the engine is cold, but I am at 44k miles now and suspect this is due to the spark plugs needing some gap adjustments, or the coils are nearing the end of their life. I drive moderately hard on occasion but most of my driving is relaxed.
I have not been data logging, will start soon.

Installed stage 1 on a B48 20i at about 30k miles, I'm now on 69k miles.
I don't horse it around all the time though, most my miles are done on motorways with cruise set to 75mph. I've had oil changed mostly every 10k miles, just had spark plugs changed yesterday. A local garage did mention he's had a few tuned 20is in with blown piston, no idea what tune that had though. |

When i opened new support ticket, they answered within 24 hours. for datalog, i think you should perform proper datalog 4th gear, WOT from 2500 to redline, then stop datalog

Been running the stage 2 93 octane bm3 tune for about 8000 miles until I ran into a drivetrain issue. It's a 330e. Drivetrain malfunction...piston ring failure is looking like it's the culprit right now due to improvement on wet compression tests.
38000 miles on the car. 93 top tier gas (Florida) always used and some octane booster added. Happened maybe 500 to 1000 miles after an oil change, coincidence or low quality oil? recommended weight was used Bm3 looked at my logs a while back and said all my timing was fine.
