328i Luxury ordered!!
So went into Parkview BMW on Saturday to drive the 335i and 328i back to back.
Sales rep had a 335 ready for me to drive. We piled in (wife and toddler) and off we went... WOW!! Blazing fast and that engine/exhaust note... So Intoxicating. Then drove the 328i and seat of the pants feel was that it was just as fast as the 335i. However the sound wasn't the same, but a great buttoned down luxury car with more than enough power, acceleration and fun for ~$6K less. Wasn't planning on ordering... But... couldn't resist! So I signed for an Imperial Blue with Saddle Brown and Premium Pkg. I plan on swapping out the rims... Any recommendations appreciated. My first BMW and the wait until June when she arrives will be unbearable. |

Depends on how much you drive IMO. If you're daily drive isnt like a commute from Kitchener, Hamilton, Barrie etc. to DT Toronto or you use the GO Train I would lease. Otherwise you're better off to buy it.
PM me and I'll recommend someone at Parkview BMW. |

Whatever you do, DO not goto BMW Mississauga; i heard customer service sucks at that location. Either goto Budds or Parkview BMW. PM Photoman or me; i also know a good rep at Parkview, she is pretty good.
Good Luck |

I have from numerous people that T & C is bad too unless you're of a certain persuasian. So I went to my guy at Parkview. Shame too since T & C is practically walking distance from my house. |

I had a great buying experience at Mississauga. I gues it depends on your sale person. Once I buy the car I'll do my service at budd's since it's closer to my home and work.
If you want I go to Alex at Mississauga. He offered me a great deal. I'm sure he'll give you one as well. Tell him Teddy sent you. BTW I'm leasing since I only put about 11k/year on my cars. |

Ok so heres the story!
I live near square one and travel daily to work which is at creek bank and eglinton (the big Bell Headoffice). I also use my car a bit during the weekends when I hang out with friends. But the really funny part is that last year I noted down my kms in February. So this February I checked my mileage again and I drove 12,000kms. This is a joke! 12,000 kms is like nothing!!! So for me lease is ideal....BUT....I will be moving in two months to Churchill meadows or the Lisgar area or maybe even to Milton. This is what's worrying me... I don't know what my mileage will be now. But even if I double my current mileage, I'm hitting 24,000 kms which is still perfect for a lease. But this is not confirmed... So I'm not sure what to do...if I finance, my car totals to something around $800 per month which is way too high. The lease with $7000 drive away cost is giving me only $683 per month..... Lots to think...

...another quick question:
Do you think I should go for the Excess Wear and Tear for the F30 if I lease it? My dealer is charging me an extra $18 per month so for the 4 year agreement this is roughly an extra $864. Is this important? Should I go for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Remember: this is the FIRST time I'm considering doing a lease!!!

Here's how I figure out whether to buy or lease:
For Lease: Add up the lease payments plus down payment. $400/mo X 36 mos = $14,400 + 2400 = $16,800 (3 Years) Consider lower payment than buying and a new car every 3 years but if you go over mileage or have excessive wear and tear it can cost you. Buying: Take the initial cost of the car and then remove the trade in or resale value and then divide by 4 (buying and keeping at least 4 years (free maint. period)). $45,000 - $27,000 = $18,000. (4 years) With buying the payments are higher and you own the car longer but you don't have the same penalties for high mileage, excessive wear, and of course the longer you own it the better a deal it becomes as the rate of depreciation lessens each year. Because BMWs hold their value so well, I always buy but that's just me.

Went to the dealership today in Markham and test drove the 335i. I was very impressed but was surprised at how much it ended up when fully loaded. I'm looking at $75K with tax and everything (with ~$3000 charge for an m-sport).
It feels like it's a bit too much for a 3. |
