I have an ASD (physical thing) in my car but it doesn't show up in ESYS.

Do you know what the reason could be? Could incomplete PsdZdata be the reason?

No idea, but PSdZData has nothing to do with it. Maybe you pick wrong E-Sys Launcher Car Series or E-Sys Connection Target though.

I have my PC set up (with your previous help, thanks). I have the service due flash, that came back after resetting the dash cluster (at the speedometer). I have read an updated software upload is required. Can you share what you know or point me to a thread?

Here is the steps:
-Hook-up the car to a good charger
-After Rheingold boots up choose:
-Operations
-Vehicle ID
-Make sure your VIN is there.
-When done at the top select Vehicle Management and then Service Function right below it.
-Select Body
-Select voltage supply at bottom of list
-Select battery
-Select register battery change
-Select search at bottom right
-highlight ABL register battery
-Select:

I have the basic/small non-Navi iDrive system and I also don't have the HUD. Was wondering if the following codes will work for me (I checked the super cheat sheet but it didn't specify):

Every picture of the changed startup animation I saw online was on the big navi screen. And I have the button for voice recognition but it doesn't function, so if I use the code above to enable it(if it's compatible for my HU), then I suppose I could also use the Siri-Activation code? Also, I don't have the HUD, but was wondering if that code would work to change the startup animation on my KOMBI.

I also don't have a combox, therefore don't have Enhanced bluetooth. Just wanted to put that out there incase it matters.

Unlikely to work.

You want 6WA for logo display.

You need NBT for animation.

Voice commands will not work either.

Damn, thats a bummer. Thanks for the info and I got one more question:
I did the code to enable Sports Displays and it worked, except that they don't actually operate. Is that normal? Is it just for looks? And I don't have a diesel.

EDIT: Forgot to include that I did do research on this and it seemed to work on some people's F30's but not all. I'm not sure if it'll work for my engine so I was asking if anybody would happen to know. Thanks!

Can I use E-sys to identify the part numbers of the modules installed (e.g. ICM, DSC, etc.) in my car (F06). I am thinking to do a retrofit but what to know what do I have currently

I also have ISTA if that might be the tool to identify the part numbers

You can't. E-Sys PSdZData contains no ECU Part Numbers.
