Now you could be on to something there, but really they should be a little more clear.
To be fair to DMS, all the tuners do similar - not just them. Edit - just to say I quoted 335d above but its a similar story for the 330d. Different factory power and engine codes. Just for clarity! |

I used Celtic Tuning and I was there to see the results on the Dyno.
My car was a E90 330d 2011 and power after was 335 Bhp and 475 ibft Torque and the power was immense! |

I am still waiting for the DMS guy to email me all the printouts etc...... The thing which makes me suspicious about this is that if this really is so good then why haven't they put this up on their website??? The F30 model is still not on their website and they only tell you about it when you email them. |

Time and time again I read the craziest things in this threat.
I drive a 09/2013 F30 330d M sport with the M Performance Power Kit installed claiming 286hp and 600Nm of torque (before remap) 1) I did extensive testing against a standard 330d (0-100km/h, 80-180km/h etc) and the difference was MINIMAL at best (both sport automatic and test in normal, sport and sport+). When he was a bit faster on the launch I could not, I repeat NOT get closer. All this difference is in your head. A 330d deliveres a shitload of torque to begin with, so explain to me how you could feel a difference of 40Nm. Please tell. 2) I did 4 seperate dyno runs with respected companies in Belgium (one of who unlocked remaps on the F series). I never, I repeat NEVER got the claimed figures. Most out of the 3 respected was 276bhp and 590Nm. Lastly I went to a tuner with an optimistic dyno and got 315bhp and 640Nm. He was known for his crappy dyno. 3) I did a remap to 310bhp and 650Nm and tested again against the standard 330d and now I got a very visible difference (I destroyed him basicly). So in reality the M PPK is a very expensive (If you don't have the M sport brakes) option with very minimal results on road use (could be better on tracks thanks to the intercooler). I don't know what kind of crappy dyno's you guys have run on, but those numbers are way out of reality. |

Sounds like it was fitted badly and there was a boost leak or other issues to be honest.
As mentioned the PPk did well in the dyno day coming out with respectable results. I absolutely feel a difference over the stock car. The midrange shove is way improved. |

For me the PPK was the surprise, and the ecotune result confirmed what others have recommended. Even if the rolling road was wrong on the absolute figures, it was still significantly different from the stock cars that were tested at the same time. Reproduced from elsewhere Green (MG60) is Std Red (M5ET) is a bluespark generic £150 tuning box Pink (HJ64) is Steinbauer box Other Green (TR08) is DMS remap Blue (WJ14) is Ecotune stage 1 remap |
