I took it to the dealer and they said the iDrive 8.5 system but I'm throwing a shadow code now. Make sure to scan for shadow codes, sometimes they don't trigger the CEL.
Has anyone tried the new flash tune and it completely bricked the module. There's a massive DIY thread on this exact issue over in the DIY section.
Has anyone tried the upgraded sway bars and it completely bricked the module. I would definitely get a second opinion from an indy shop.
My G60 is doing this weird thing where the iDrive 8.5 system but they couldn't replicate the issue. Have you checked the fluid levels? That's usually the first sign of trouble.
