As promised, a few photos of the new Golf R Black in Lapiz Blue Metallic. Please ignore how dirty it is, the weather has been messy and the roads have been heavily salted. I ran it through a touchless carwash just before the photo shoot but we all know how useless they are.

Nice color, and nice exhaust. How does it sound?

That thing is pretty rad. Love the color choice. Do these new ones have the 5 cylinder from the RS3? I thought I read somewhere that was a thing…

Thanx. No it's a turbo 2L 4 banger rated at 328hp... and it goes! It won't keep up to my E90 though.

Congrats! Sweet ride! They'll CPO for an insane amount of time. When I got t my 2014 last year, it was still under CPO and I think they'd cert it up to 13 years if all MX was at brand dealerships.

Mind sharing the options list?

When you get more miles on it, please update us with your thoughts on it over your M4!
Sorry - been traveling a shit ton.

Attached is the options list / pricing sheet. I ended up running through the same options sheet on a 992.2 4GTS - cost is now $218K. Crazy stupid...

As for a small comparison. Already missing the extra space, which I think will be the hardest part to get over. I need to travel with my golf clubs, typically I place these into my travel bag, fold down rear seats and push it in. Now I see myself putting these together in an airport parking lot (I know, first world problems). I've also now basically committed myself to using the wife's genesis for home depot runs.

Oddly, also miss the heads up display. Porsche doesn't have this.

The car itself...the 911 is way more stable on the highway. I'm hoping it's even better in the rain with the AWD. Steering is the worst thing of the M4, and always thought the VAG group did the electric steering better. Probably best part, the seats. While the M4 was find at the back, those bolsters in the seat dig into your ass a bit for anyone larger than a 5'6" tiny guy. The 911's 18 way seats flatten that part out. And I always thought it was a miss that the f8x didn't have the leg extensions (which they brought back in the G8x).

Nice! I almost bought the darker handle too.
I have had the 7”’chefs for about five years now. The 5.5” has been great for smaller foods.

OK.... You know how us older guys get hyped over Appliances! Well, last year I bought Samsungs top of the line Bespoke Refrigerator. Which is still amazing on so many levels. But as of a few days ago, I purchased and received Samsung latest line of Bespoke Washer and Dryer.
Not only are they absolutely stunning, in a ultra modern minimalist way. The features and technology are on another level. Like the fridge, it can be completely controlled from my Galaxy phone. Convenient features like auto dispensing of both detergent and softer that are prefilled and last up to 25 cycles.
AI OptiWash: Senses soil and fabric type, automatically adjusting time, water, and detergent.
Specialty Cycles: Includes options for Baby Care (high temp, extra rinse), Denim (extra rinse), Outdoor Care, and Delicates.
Speed & Efficiency: Super Speed gets loads done fast, while Eco cycles save energy.
Maintenance: Built-in Self Clean+ and Self Dry cycles help keep the machine fresh, with reminders every 30-40 washes.
