Any Stage 1 OTS 93 octane, N55 guys in here?? How do you like it over stock or MPPK?

I am MPPK + MPE now, I have the cable, just deciding if I should wait until I am stage 2 or flash to stage 1 now.

Stage 1 is more aggressive tune then MPPK. I would flash stage 1 and run it until you decide to get stage 2. Then just flash stage 2.

+1

The only drawback to installing Stage 1 Map first is the $50 cost to buy the map bundle for stage 2. Personally, I think if you're not going to upgrade to stage 2 hardware right away, you should just get Stage 1 first then just buy the maps for stage 2 when you're ready.

Does anyone know what target boost is for the E30 OTS map? I’m FBO running E30 and could only get around 17 psi, was expecting around 20 based on some other threads. Also what’s the protocol for getting feedback on datalogs? Thanks.

17.22, starting at around 4300 rpm to redline, is the target according to my logs. I get very close to 17.22 through my pulls with a little over 16psi at redline.

Your log is not the best. You should do WOT 3rd gear (or higher) 2500rpm to redline. Then through as many gears as possible.

E30 OTS map target is 17.2psi but boost is not everything as you're getting proper timing for the octane, load target is higher too.

You should def get a better / longer log. 30-100mph for ex. or 0-100mph

so i was thinking of doing stage 2 bm3, FMIC, charge pipes, and catted downpipe on my stock 435i. My question is, is this a dumb idea to do before an intake and exhaust? I ask because I've read intake and exhaust are more for "i want it to sound good" and that you dont get much out of them

You dont need an intake, its purely for sound/cosmetic mod. Also exhaust wont help you with power, even the stock cat isn't really that restrictive as some people might say, especially the companies marketing them.

Any electronics store (Best Buy) or the apple store or even Ebay. You need a thunderbolt/usb-c/USB to Ethernet adaptor.

Have you tried using your mouse scroll wheel? If you're using a laptop with a touchpad, try a two finger scroll.

Who uses scroll bars these days? Just swipe or use the track pad or wheel on the mouse

I am new to tuning. My car has mppk, mpe, Fab catted DP, wagner FMIC, vsrf charge pipe. I am good to go with stage 2 tune correct? Any issues with PPK? Is there a way to get back to stock easily when I take my car in for service? Thanks for helping a newbie.

Yes you are good to run stage 2. All you have to do is flash the stock tune to go back to stock and lock the DME. It takes about 3 mins. Since you have MPPK that is the tune that will be saved as your stock tune.

Thanks. What type of output can I expect from stage 2 running 92 octane?
