I have the logic 7 soundsystem, in my case the central speaker work perfectly everywhere, avinusa never send me update of the mcu and i never update them, my version is from 16.08.2019. in the factory settings i set the harman amplifier.

Hello guys. You mentioned that with carplay idrive controller works. What about andoird auto? I have used both dongle and headunite reloaded. What about steering controls in AA? For me (on 8.1 and only with headunit) they work only after I recive call. Idrive never worked with AA in any app/method.

We're talking about android 10. Not comparable to 8.1. Android 8.1 has no iDrive on any app.

Yes, I know we are talking about 10. I am thinking of upgrading, hence the question about andoird auto and how idrive and wheel buttons work with it.

I tried to change some tiles in ID7 but wasnt succesful without the source code of the original launcher.

Tried Car Launcher Pro. Doenst look too bad tbh. Does anyone have some useful widgets to recommend?

I'm after a little help, I have a SD625 which I brought from the Astrowind seller on AliExpress. I had to perform a factory reset shortly after upgrading to Android 10, since then I've lost some of the preloaded apps my unit came with. I'm looking for the DVR software that was pre-loaded on the unit, unfortunately I don't know what this was called or where to find it?

Any other Astrowind buyers out there know what app I'm looking for, or better still, can you share your DVR apk?

I've tried installing DVR app that came with my camera but it keeps crashing.

I purchased my unit from Astrowind too, however it was on android 10 out of the box. I'll share the app's name, and / or apk asap (tomorrow evening at the earliest).
Do you also want me to list the other apps that were bundled with the HU?

Hi,

I am not that happy with android10, since installation 3 weeks i had to rrcover 3 times now. I had to use the recovery solution with the image dince a keyboard also wont work to select factory data reset.

Anyone else experience rhe same and have a solution?

Im on version 1.3

It does not really work with iDrive. The launcher is a little bit strange.
I switched to Nova Launcher because of that and im customizing the setup at the moment since i have 2 weeks of because of the current corona outbreak situation. I will post some images later.

I didnt have to recover once. Can you post your MCU ?
What exactly happened so you had to recover everything?

I dont know exactly, i think it has something todo with restarting the car to fast. I am on MCU 191127 (NBT GTH)

never had this with the android 9 versions. and now 3 times within 6 days use.

Btw a keyboard is also not working.. for selecting in the recovery mode. i can only recover by using the USB stick way.


I am now trying to restore 1.2 and do a factory reset and then try a normal upgrade to 1.3 hope that helps.

Please keep an eye on it and report more findings.

On the left i made a little widget in combination with Taskers new logcat feature to grab the MCU messages with the car information (mileage, speed, temperature, doors open/closed, etc) and display them on the homescreen. It uses Nova Launcher so it will work with iDrive. For the widgets im using KWGT.

I just tried restaging again first usb restore 1.2 then upgrade to 1.3 which worked fine. Installed all my apps and did a reboot via factorysettings and the screen came in bootloop again into the recovery mode...

I wil stop for today. I am thinking about installing v 1.2.5 instead of 3. Mcu is still not touched since i got the screen but on the latest.
