no don't get the bimmian. Cree offer those for $30 not about price but those will not illuminate as you think. the link i sent you are headlight kit that will get you what you want exactly.

I know Nickhelou has know direct affiliation with Horizon LEDs but I've just sent this to them via email, Facebook and private message

"What a bunch of time wasters you guys really are, you charge for a premium product with a 2 year warranty, yet offer non.

6-7 weeks later I've obviously made other arrangements to get the lighting on my car working so don't want any belated service from you, but I will, where ever I can make sure on Facebook & forums just how shit your warranty & customer service really is!!!"

I have spent £400+ with them and the first problem I've had I've received zero customer support.

Really sorry to OP for this.

Once your lights fail your car is illegal and Horizon LED's mess you about for 7 weeks!

Hey Rusty, I just got these and put them in last week. I'm getting an error in the dash that says "Fog Light Malfunction" and only 95% of the time only 1 the left foglight will turn on. They also rapidly flickered for about 3 seconds when I first turn them on.

Crap, do these not have CANBUS?

You didn't code them yet, and if they randomly turn on/off (One side turns on, the other doesn't...) then you need Canbus connectors or you need to get the XP50 type of lights that HorizonLED have. It's simple plug and play without needing any additional cables.

I coded them. The malfunction error is now gone. But the right bulb will not light under any scenario. It must be a bad bulb, I am in touch with the Ebay seller you linked and hoping they will send me a replacement.

what's odd I have two friends who installed them and they are having flicker on left side but it goes away then flickers again !!

yes it seems that it happens to cars with xenon on left fog once or twice and on cars with halogen left low beam once only and they never reported any flickering so far. Happy news but odd

That's odd. On European cars, rear fog lights coding is NSL. Did you code that or another module? I believe that's the module to code, not BFD. Lemme know if that does the trick.

Hey man,

Inner brake lights are the rear fog lights, but in the American market, the rear fog lights are not "usable" unless you change the switches and coding and so on. In the US market, the rear fog lights are used to indicate heavy braking (BFD). The rear brake lights are H21 435 50W bulbs. You'd need 2 bulbs for the brake lights and 2 more for the rear fog lights (same type of bulb).

Thanks bud... And is the price on horizons website for a pair of bulbs or for a single bulb? With the crappy conversion, at this price it would be $41 a bulb Canadian... A bit steep. If it's for a pair, that's not so bad.

Also ... should I go w/ amber or red for the rear turning bulb? I see in the original video on the 435i that the rear turning bulb is amber. Looks good... but was that simply an amber bulb w/ the same red rear light lens housing?
