Imo the BMW is a better looking car, but i would had the NA Lexus engine under the BMW hood.

If you watch it on mute as I just did as the wife is asleep next to me it looks like a 4 series promo video!

The Lexus needs more.......front grill!

Interesting video...especially coming from Lexus. What's interesting about it that facts don't sell. We justify our decision to buy with the facts. It's emotion that sells. This video is appealing to the facts and not the emotion.

Is this a training video or something...certainly it is not a sales video...

There's no way this is biased.
It's a comparison video of BMW and Lexus......by Lexus.

This video only makes Lexus looks cheap. These are the judgements that consumer states, not automakers. Lexus thinks Lexus is the best....it's just not that persuasive. Plus, I hate Jap car makers do comparison with only HP, but no TQ. I bought the G37S coupe in 2008, becasue Nissan was keep saying 330HP > 300HP and the turth is it doesn't mean shxt. It is still slower than 335i.
I do like Japanese cars and I would buy a Lexus if I considering to own a car for 15 to 20 years, cuz it runs forever and low maintenance cost.

This. Too many people flip/flop opinions. If a competitor has a NA engine, oh BMW is better because it's FI more performance but turnaround, oh FI is shit, don't know why they use it in M cars should be naturally aspirated!

Holy smokes...that grille on the Lexus...And I thought the one on my Audi was a tad on the overbearing side...

That being said, I've enjoyed by my Lexus SC430 and GS430 vehicles. Both were very well built with a tangible luxurious feel to them. I ultimately got rid of them because frankly they were not fun to drive. The were boringly consistent and stable. I know to some thats a good thing. To me there is that visceral feeling missing from Lexus which they are trying to get with their more aggressive styling and performance focus but that grille..

I like the touch features in the Lexus but God damn the front of that car is sooooo ugly the grills and the headlights are disgusting. Plus they didn't even show the m sport when doing the side by side comparison. I do like the interior in the Lexus but would take a 435 all day without question.

Love how all the BMW fan boys are freaking out.

I love BMW.

I thought this video was very informative.

And honestly, after watching it, all I have to say is:

Damn. Nice freakin' job, Lexus.

And that's for the 6sp manual 435i. The 8sp auto 0-60 is in the 4.6 sec range, and quarter is like low 13's. Power/acceleration of the RC is more in the ballpark of the 428i.
