Haven't done an update in awhile, this update is mostly interior stuff.
-OEM 6wb retrofit from Bimmertech: Link -M Performance Pedals: Link -Silver hex/Blue Trim - AutoTecknic Red start button: Link -Aluminum start button overlay -M3 Steering wheel trim and paddles Was pretty stoked when the 6wb retrofit became a possibility, I actually ordered this around black friday because Bimmertech had a coupon code up (10% or 15% i forgot). Got the cluster and install was super easy.. just 2 screws and unplug/replug. Pedals were an easy install too, just needed the right tools (titanium drill bits) to drill through the steel pedal. I had the silver hex/black trim but always wanted the blue one, found a set on here and scooped it up right away at a good price. Red start button/aluminum overlay seems to be the new thing.. grabbed them on ebay for less than 30 for both, looks good and stands out! Last edited by Johnny250; 06-05-2018 at 03:11 PM.. |

If you use my stock dyno runs as a reference you got the advertised 40hp and 60lb-ft gains. 143hp, 217lb-ft on Mustang dyno 148hp on Dynojet |

An update to the exterior!
-3D Design Front Lip: Link -3D Design Rear Roof Spoiler: Link -Studie AG Trunk Badge: Link -Studie AG Door Projectors: Link -IKON Motorsports DP Style Lip: Link -Gazp Rear bumper extensions: Link Decided to do some updates to the exterior, was kind of sick of seeing M-Performance lips everywhere, and I wanted to make the car more JDM. I still think I'm the only F30/F31 in the USA with an authentic 3D Design lip, let me know if that isn't true. I went with the 3D design lip since it's very unique, and I wanted the painted lip look, it's also urethane so I don't have to worry about scraping it. The 3D roof spoiler was a no brainer, easily the best roof spoiler for the F31 (in my opinion). Added a couple of JDM fanboy mods, totally useless stuff but since I love Studie and their style, I decided to run these parts for this build. I got the Gazp bumper extensions, and I really like the subtle clean look of it, but adding it made the front lip look a little weird without a splitter, after doing some research.. I found out that the Ikon lip fits perfectly under my 3D Design lip! Here are some pics: Last edited by Johnny250; 06-05-2018 at 03:16 PM.. |
