Bimmian has stealth turn signal bulbs I ordered for the front, but I don't think there LEDs. Appear silver but flash orange. Code it so they only turn on when you're signaling and it's all gravy.
Only downside is they're a little expensive and not LEDs but if you're going to code them not to blink anyway who cares how bright they are, right? Mine were a sinch to install and no errors

I ordered some of those bulbs last week:
http://www.gf-carlight.com/product/A.../0828/267.html I hope they won't be identical to those benoa bought. @ benoa, do you have any pictures of the installed bulbs - are they really so dim? |

thanks benoa, or this information. This is annoying - the incident bulb should have around 400lm or 350lm with the amber coating and every Cree chip should have more than100lm output.
As soon as my bulb will arrive, I will do some measurement and comparison. @mcalc55 was it a lot of work to code the lights? Is it possible to change the DRL so that it stays off when starting the engine and switches on when the light-switch is turned to parking light? |

As far as light settings go I just keep mine on auto the whole time and it seems to fit my needs. Before I coded them off the orange stayed on but when the car was off you wouldn't see the orange bulb

100% of LED bulbs as turn signals will randomly "flicker" because of a self diagnostic in the car to the bulb's position. If the circuit is broken because the bulb is burnt out the car notifies you. In standard incandescent bulbs there isn't enough energy passed through the bulb to light it up, but being energy efficient LED's light up. I suspect it can only be fixed by coding out the diagnostic out of the ECM. I've not seen anybody do that yet.

my bulbs (http://www.gf-carlight.com/product/A.../0828/267.html) just arrived and they seem to be really bright - at least outside the taillight. I'll keep you informed on my testings.
Tomorrow I'll test drive the 435i |

I guess you just need to set "LED" to "A" on the front and rear signals, but do you need to deactivate "KALT" or "WARM"? |

If I remember correctly, you need to disable both KALT and WARM (Set them to NA, or Nicht_activ). KALT = cold check on startup, if you look at your LED without this disabled, it will pulse a few times when you first turn on the car. WARM is for the warm check every few minutes that results in random flashes here and there. Hope this works for you guys.

Ok, so I finally installed those :
http://goo.gl/u4SpVH Brightness is good but flickering at startup still occurs. I'm afraid there's no way around it but to do some coding |

@ benoa
I tested my 4x5W Cree LEDs - they are bright, but like you already wrote the light distribution is not optimal. The rear LEDs are behind the reflectors focal point and so the light can't be reflected adequately. Has someone tried these bulbs? http://www.gf-carlight.com/product/A.../0828/261.html |

I just coded the markers off altogether. Looks better and no worries about flickering
