Bummer on paying the taxes twice...for purchasing.
Anyone else think it's a good deal and just pull the trigger?
Life is short. I say get the 440i GC m-sport. I doubt you'll have any regret or be thinking about the cost of the upgrade afterwards.

Me... I'm waiting for option to replace my 428i GC in the form G20 M340i or G22 whenever that might be.

I just don't like the idea of taking a lost or spending more money and when I get in the car it will be totally the same. Interior wise or features.

Just me ok.... if you like the 440i go for it.

the decision is hard because performance is not something he is chasing or motivating him... and if the 430 is fine, and looks is the only thing that is bothering him that can be resolved and i m almost certain for much less than 10k, but im confused because i saw another posting about 6.6k (at this price point i would probably say go for the 440, but thats about 3.5k difference from 10k.

edit: the steering wheel is different

this is true, but perhaps being patient this time will be more fruitful?

Actually Icecph is motivated by performance so I think he might as well go for the 440i GC now, especially if he could get the lost down from $10k to 6.6k. If that's ok with him.

You can't undo what already happened when he got the 430i GC. He has to suffer a lost but he probably will forget it once he is inside driving a 440i GC and grinning he's way out of the dealership.

if i recall correctly, he said he wasn't TOO concerned with the lack of power 430 vs 440, but i could be wrong.

but yes for 6.6k i think its worth it. better said put it like this its not a loss because had he chosen this car from the jump it would have cost him 6.6k more anyway.

Actually, not really. If you recall the original pricing, 33500$ was original mark down for 430GC, in the end paying around 31000$ (before tax).
Now the 440GC M original is 35500$, and now asking for 33985$ (before tax).
Only if the 440GC M was listed earlier...

Me neither...who'd like to take a lost and spend more money to be in similar ride interior wise. The exterior is totally different though hahahah
but as I've said, didn't have a lot of choices back then, since I recently moved where I'm at and had no means of transportation. And this 440GC came 3 weeks late.

Well, they are 4cy. Mostly people would go for M on 6cy I suppose. And I did see 430M the other day, but the color was not what I'd liked, plus it was way too far from me.
Side note...I hate alpine white 😂

Well, technically the lost down from 10k to 6.6k is basically just BMW returning my extended maintenance that I paid at first with the current 430.

Which I hear people had a hard time canceling? Correct me if I'm wrong.

i cant speak on that, because i didn't opt for the extended warranty when i bought mine in 2018.

oh so you are still losing out on 10k in this transaction, i will have to pass on this then. sorry but thats just ME.

The 430 I have really just doesn't have the looks and some features of M package I guess. But it does harman/kardon sound and 19' wheel. Still, it bothers me that it is priced that similar.

Anyhow, I probably need to decide soon on the 440 LOL gahh

No no no, 10k is without the return of extended maintenance, which is guaranteed. So having said that, I'm sure the sales can push for 6.6k with the return of the 3k of extended maintenance.

If it's 10k alone, I wouldn't even consider lol

i mean no matter how you look at it, you are losing out on the 3k you spent on the extended warranty(Which i would have passed on anyway, but thats neither here nor there) SO damn that makes it tricky..because now you are getting to apply that 3k on a better cause.

get the vin # for the 440 and make sure its specd well like ur 430. then you can decide better if you want to spend the 6.6k. also is that 6.6K + tax? or 6.6k out the door?

to change the 430 to m-sport looks, shadowline trim, steering wheel, seats etc is too money and more importantly, time and labor.

ditch it and get the 440i GC m-sport.

6.6k is final, out the door price. I'm sure the sales can push it for me.
Thats minus the 3k from 10k.
Extended warranty which the 2017(end of '16) model would have is only up to 2021 anyways. Because original 50k is within 4 years. And that 4 years begins from when the owner purchased back then.

That's precisely what I'm thinking. Getting those done on 430 would definitely cost more than 10k.
