Why the hell are your fuel pressure targets at 1800psi under load? That will cause poor fuel distribution and atomization, which will of course lead to timing pull and/or misfires. It's almost as if the fuel control is completely reversed. Fuel pressure targets go up under low load and drop under high load. Makes no sense. If it's an attempt to get more boost without overwhelming the fuel system, it's not worth it. Lower boost target, increase rail pressure targets, and adjust timing as appropriate. This will likely fix your misfire issues as well, so at least get the tune fixed before replacing your spark plugs. The B58 is a high compression direct injection engine. It cannot run efficiently at such low fuel pressures. Do you have any old logs to compare it too? Has rail pressure always been that low? Any codes? |

https://datazap.me/u/wrxtobimmerguy/...n?log=0&data=3 Here is the first data log ever made on his baseline tune map: https://datazap.me/u/wrxtobimmerguy/...0?log=0&data=3 I thought this tuner was one of the best tuners for the platform. Do you have any recommendations? Last edited by WrxToBeamerGuy; 07-12-2021 at 09:17 AM.. |

Quick Q
I'm running MHD Stage 2 with and will be moving to Az Thinks MHD has no ACN "bad fuel" map. Should I go for Stage 2 91 or for Stage 1 91 (not sure if the tining changes between 1 > 2) to start with? Once I figure out logging (too much work too little time) I could check but I want to have a starting point |

I feel like that tune is on the bleeding edge of being safe. I would run an OTS map for your setup until you can get it fixed. Other tuners I recommend are listed in the description of this video depending on what tuning platform you use. I am tuned by OdinTuned and very satisfied with the results. |

Kirill at OdinTuned managed to correct these issues and fine tuned it to my conditions and fuel quality and it’s very nice to drive. I would also highly recommend ! |

Tonight I ran my first log since making changes to my '16 340i. I'm a bit concerned about the cylinder timings.
https://datazap.me/u/kevmk81/log-162...37-38-39-40-41 Car: xhp stage 1 mhd stage 1 93 octane er catted downpipe (installed within the last week) awe midpipe and axle back FTP intake pipe (stock airbox with afe dry filter) vrsf charge pipe Shell 93 octane 38k miles Spark plugs changed roughly 2k miles ago with NGK iridium. I believe they are gapped same as what the old ones were. Last edited by kevmk81; 07-13-2021 at 10:18 PM.. |

It's really strange 23 C is not high ambient temperature at all and Shell fuel is a reputable fuel.

Almost 4 degrees timing correction on all cylinders around 4500 RPM is not that small.
Also the timing delta for knock adaptation should be closer to zero.

It is very hot today, and an ambient temp shows 35.5℃
Nevertheless I tried to make some log today. My car is 2017 340i RWD. E.R catless downpipe Akrapovic evolution line link pipe and exhaust. CSF heat exchanger K&N filter in stock air box NGK94201 with stock gap Genuine ignition coils: Eldor TU_HPFP M sports LSD Maybe 98ron fuel that is sold as 'high-octane' gasoline in Japan MHD stage2HPFP 98ron beta3 from Bigboost xHP stage3 ver.1.7 with torque limiter off I would like to understand the log especially about timing correction and frequent torque limiter interference. I appreciate your advise! https://datazap.me/u/fakebimmer/log-...47-48-49-50-51

Did you mean run it more rich? (more fuel more cooling). Would you say the AFRs are reasonable or should I ask my tuner to make it more rich?

It's probably fine. I'm assuming it continues to drop as you get towards redline. But again consult with your tuner. |
