I'm still looking for a watch, and I'm in love with this one: I found one in the UK and made a bid at what I was willing/happy to pay but we're £1000 apart but can't get it out of my head.

The one in Luxembourg on Chrono24 got sold that was 6.5k, one showed up a few weeks ago in the UK but they wanted £7950 for it! I bid them 6.5k and they said thanks but no thanks.

I wear an Omega Speedmaster GMT chrono as my everyday watch. Hoping to get either a Rolex DSSD or Omega Grey side of the moon as a 'special'. I had a nice little collection going some time ago, but then things like kids and house moves happened!

If you can find a batman edition like mine for a good price they are going up in value every day
I paid 5950 for mine Rolex are now quoting 18mth for a new one which has shot the 2nd price up to around 7k now and rising all the time

Will probably be a Black bezel, a friend has a BLNR like yours yes not easy to get those from an AD for list cheapest I've seen is £6250 but some un worn up for 7.5k

I wear a simple and cheap Citizen. Tough as old boots and no issues with batteries etc and it's great for travel.

I'm genuinely not a watch guy. My old man was, along with cars. I wasn't aware of the brand when he gave it to me a few years ago! I had heard of Rolex, Omega, Tag, Raymond Weil of course, but never AP. It looks a plain watch imho and nothing special. That's probably sacriledge to watch fans

I had no idea how expensive it is. It's one of those things where I genuinely can't see it, can't see why they're so dear. But I have it in a safe deposit box, not leaving in my house that's for sure.

They don't hold their value as well as Rolex's, but it's still £7-8k worth pre owned, about £13 new!
