It arrived next day and is being installed tomorrow. price is still slightly higher than ex's but I can get more at a discounted rate. Feel free to pm me

I looked into it, halfshaft diameters are different, theres also a bunch of smaller parts where they mate to the LSD and possibly the hub carrier\bearings too, too many uknown factors to blindly order it and end up spending thousands replacing parts so it could fit.

I'm in a loaner and car is at bmw getting warranty work for the trunk and my performance lsd installed tomorrow AM. Very pumped

I believe there's a break-in period with the M-performance LSD, so you may want to take it easy at first.

There is a 500 mile break in period. The guys at my dealer were clueless about this job but someone on here put up the service documents for the diff- somewhere in there it mentioned avoiding hard drives and speeds over 80 during the break in. Supposedly it's meant to keep the diff from getting too hot. Apologies if you already know this. I had mine done a couple of weeks ago and am almost across the 500 mile mark, so I am anxious to push the car too.

Yeah.. My donuts will be more like figure 8's in the paring lot going about 2 mph to help the break in.
