Price is crazy cheap, they look good and have the sequential turn signals with amber lighting which is pretty cool.

To get the oem version of these lights to fit on a pre lci car is that drip rail piece and additional wiring harness absolutely necessary or can they be plug and play if coded properly? Sorry haven't read the entire thread this is likely answered already

Thanks!
Depo lights are costing less than 300$ right now.

Vlad what i understand is people are not happy with wiring harness.

Oem you need to have an pre lci adapter and coding as well there is some change in wiring aswell
Do you have a link to the depo lights? Do they come as a full kit with retrofit wiring harness and those drip rail pieces?

Check below link. Also there is code up above in the post for 15% discount aswell. It comes with all the harness and wiring and are just plug and play

https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/s...0-4-door-sedan
Just checked that link and those ones do not work for pre lci cars

Not sure about your car

But on below link when you try to add it to cart you see all the options and they are designed for pre lci models with harness

Mine is 2015 F30 and it should work on it.

https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/s...3012lciled4pcs
Do you know if those drip rail pieces are absolutely required to fit these?

I don't think that's correct. Check these install videos, seems the DEPO kit has just about everything you need except the wire tap:

Has anyone saying that the drip trim pieces are required actually tried using the pre-lci trim pieces with the lci lights?

Because I did. And the old trim pieces work just fine

Your old drip guards will fit, but the new lights stick out past the trunk, and by extension the drip guards as well. I'm not a mechanic but I would assume with a name like that they are meant to help guard against water dripping in to that area. It can't do its job 100% if it's not covering all the light. But at the end of the day it's your car, so up to you.

They posted on (Im assuming all of) our invoices that they have until 10-26-18 to ship the lights due to the high volume of orders and wanting to QC every item before it goes out.

Hey guys just bought some depo black tail lights for my f30 pre lci today!
Just to be clear should I buy these lci drip rails? Or we can just use the one that we have on the pre lci ?
What’s the purpose the buy the lci one? It hold the water better or is just for exterior purposes ?
Thank you!

i used some black electrical tape to cover up that area that is exposed. I don't think water will get in, but just wanted to be safe.

Are the LCI ones available for purchase?

the harness from DEPO aren't the greatest either. There is one pin connector that connects to the car that will eventually pop out and the entire unit will not light on. I had to use electrical tape to secure the wire into the harness and it took a lot of trouble shooting to get it to work.

Can you please elaborate on which pin connector you had trouble with. My lights are arriving tomorrow. Thanks,

Can you show me where they are $25? I searched the part number and the cheapest is ECS tuning at $38 + tax a piece, quite pricey for a piece of plastic 😫

I believe it's the connector connecting the car to the harness. On the harness the connector has 4 pins, one of them has a white wire attached. It came loose on one of my harnesses and I had to tape it down w tape to secure the connection.

Hope that helps! I'll ask them for a new harness soon.

Maybe not. They seem to have recently updated the part numbers. These are the current ones.
Good luck.

Where is the best place to get the OEM ones for a 2016 F31 LCI car? Or does Depo make some for the F31?
