Easy to wash, you can even drive through auto car wash. If you peel it off with a steamer or heat gun then the paint shouldn't be damaged at all.

Wow $5000 is approaching repainting half the car, right? If this job(with same high-quality material) can be done for $2000 it will be worth it to me.
