BM3 "Gunshot"

Can someone explain how they make this happen?

And would this essentially cause after fire on a catless car?

Well, has been a little dilemma on a few thread and few member, counting me that after installing jb4 +dp no more gunshot untill the car is really hot and from higher rpms, when I could get them downshifting from 2krpm on mppk.
This has to be some values on the fuel values I guess.

MPPK sounds awesome and smooth, the gunshots aren't really pleasing to me.

Agree, and other people will also think something's broken with your car.

They add extra fuel dump off after throttle release. It's essentially how this happens by adjusting a table in your ecu.

It's strange with some flash maps I had it really loud and with my current ACF flash I don't really have any burbles.

Exactly what happened to me after jb4 and fbo installed, but fbo parts are ruled out as we know is something on the fuel tune.

Tried several times on my pwg and can't get the off throttle burble back. It wasn't crazy loud or annoying but it was there and now it's not

I haven't mess yet with mine but I will. Gonna put jb4 map 0 or 4 and try. If nothing change then I will remove the entire jb4 connections, if not, i'' then put my dp back, dont know.

Hopefully bm3 can get them back.

They can if you're EWG. They found the tables.

Then with the fuel dump, there's a little extra to be burned. Which would cause after fire correct?

I also think this effect has maybe something to do with back pressure which would possibly cause gasses to concentrate more in the exhaust and then combust on the way out. When you have a catless exhaust the flow is very good thus not allowing the gasses to concentrate as much in the system, thus eliminating the crackles. This is just a theory form me. I am not an engineer nor do I wish to be one lol.

That, which make sense or jb4 fuel values, or even both, who knows. What I know is that I have less gunshot and pussy burbles.

That means that jb4 indeed affect something as map4 is jb4 off. Will try that also.
Hopefully a jb4 expert can chime on this as when I bought my jb4+fbo, everyone said, na, it wont change anything about burble and gunshot, on the contrary will get louder. Pure marketing

I haven't yet because I am not 100% sure, if it is jb4 or dp, as I installed mine at the same time. But we are getting there I guess.

There are burbles, I dont say they are not, but not the same strongest burbles prior my install, at lease on my mppk+mpe, not to mention that gunshot disappears. The burbles are with diarrhea.

I said this like 3 years ago, the jb4 overrides mppk tunes; no longer fast shifts, the car doesn't adapt anymore for mppk process, and burbles are gone.

When jb4 is attached the adaptation process isn't there after you disconnect battery and install jb4.

Why ? Idk but that what was happening!
