That said, the touch-pad feature of the iDrive console is a nice stand-out compared to their competitors. Is it optimal for usage while driving? Heck no, but it still reeks of "techy cool" and is awesome regardless.

It is still plugged in to the armrest USB jack, but I ran the iPhone connector under the center console, through the dash, and into the box.
I could have just pulled 12V from somewhere but the idea was to use for ConnectedDrive and restore easily at end of lease. |
