Powerfold/Autodim mirror retrofit BMW F30
Hi Guys,
Need some help! I have added powerfold/autodim mirrors with the switch to my F30 and the wiring to the passenger side. Coded all the options down the bottom using expert mode on bimmercode on but still the passenger side mirror does not operate and there is 0V at pin 2 of the fusebox. Drivers is fine. Have double checked all the wiring (new K LIN, ground and +ve to the passenger mirror) and still get error codes for left mirror missing lin slave, unexpected lin slave & control unit for door switch centre wrong variant installed. Even if you manually put 12V to the mirror side of pin 2 still no dice. Any ideas what ive done wrong? Not sure if there is an option ive missed coding wise or if bimmercode just isnt the right tool for this job Any help greatly appreciated! Bimmercode is not the right tool for the job - you need esys - 5 min job.
wiring - you only need to add and bridge 3 pins in the switch pack to make it work.

Many thanks for the reply, I did actually see another thread talking about that style of wiring - looked much simpler than what I did I wish id seen that first!
E SYS isnt a tool I know anything about if im honest so might be easier to get it done remotely so il look into it |
