Hello All!

Picture from me, but still can't get the grain out of this colour... Needs proper 2 step polish, but this is on my to do list as I know "few" bits about it

Let the fun begin

Greetings to all from my 435D X-Drive Individual.

Thank you

I was fortunate enough to order the car with them, so they aren't retrofitted

I'm on Instagram (@_baz)
But these are DubClub events that I've been attending locally since around 2011 in my VW days so I get invited to any that are happening.

If you're local to Coventry then during the summer every Wednesday night they put on a get together in Fargo Village with food and drink and all kinds. (Not just VW / VAG, all kinds of interesting vehicles show up)

Check out @dubclub on Instagram if you're on it. They shall announce when the meets are back on in the new year.

Not sure about my feminine side, but a convertible is better than having a sunroof.

Fresh from a first wash since August.

Still needs a wheel refurb, unsure whether to go with the same finish again or change the colour on the wheels.

Choices. Choices.

Car looks great

How few miles do you do to wash that infrequently? And brake dust?

Keep the wheels this colour, or go more silver. Black will just make all the intricacies of the wheels shape disappear

Actually, I do about 500 miles/week. So it's more about lack of time that leads to the infrequent washes. I do try and keep on top of keeping the paint protected though so it at least washes off fairly well with the pressure washer. Still have to be a little slap dash with the maintenance washes as I've very young twins.

Wheels wise, I love the current finish and wouldn't go black. Silver, maybe. Our toying with the idea of bronze or another interesting colour. Then they'll be ceramic coated again after being refurbed to keep them in good shape.

Oh! And thanks buddy!

I do still like it. I keep playing with the idea of changing but I always wind up deciding not to. Approaching 100k miles now so I'm doing the TLC bits I've neglected over 2022
