[QUOTE=AndrewC1989;29657618]I didn’t want chrome because I felt it would stick out too much.

My grills and calipers are gloss, window trim and m performance trim are matte.

I it was my choice I would go for the gloss to match the lovely gloss of the vehicle and the gloss grills.Good thing is they are not overly expensive and a few months down the line you could make the change.

Meant to add that i fitted the door lights, looks nice when getting out of the car at dark

Chuffed with my first mod today after 6 months ownership.

Royal steering wheels / triple black + M front trim cover (waiting on the rear one to finish it off) Kept it inline with the black interior stitching on the seats and went with perforated sides as I preferred this on my last car. Massive improvement visually as the old wheel was showing its age and feels great. Fresh leather smell in cabin added bonus.

That looks a superb job! Jack and Co do superb work at RSW

This was the wheel they did for my first E39 530i Sport back in 2011:

When we get sorted with an F31, I'll be looking to sort a new wheel also and RSW is the first place I'll be contacting!

That looks so nice! How long do they need the wheel for to do that work? I’m guessing you take the wheel to them, or do you leave the car? 🤔

Usually a few weeks, but they’ll have the wheel in that they can re trim for you & sell to you if you don’t want to send yours back…

They work on an exchange basis otherwise (ie you pay a deposit & for the retrimmed wheel, when that lands you fit it & then return your original one back to them and they’ll refund the deposit)

I'm in middle of switching all my Alcantara over from 9002 to 9040 for better contrast with carbon fiber. I ordered 2 more meters to redo my parcel shelf and some how ended up using it to wrap my doorcards lol

Ignore the arm rests, I had a go at running some red top stitch across them but it doesn't pop how I wanted it to. I'm going to order some coral red leather to do a 50/50 split design instead.

This looks so good, and very OEM+ in my opinion, very tempted to ask for this for my birthday from the Mrs now haha. Great choice of material and colours id probs go with exactly the same. Alcantara is nice but it doesn't take long for it to look a bit worse for wear.

I'd love an alcantara wheel but with how rough my hands are from all the training I do and the chalk I use; it'll look flat n shiny in no time

Had a few Sabelt wheels in the various Japanese import Honda's I owned in the early to mid 2000s

The chrome tips have grown on me a lot after initially being disappointed it hadn’t come with the carbon ones, feels less boy-racer! MPPSK for the win.
