BimmerTech F30 Power Trunk Retrofit

Hi everybody,
I wonder if it is possible to close the power trunk using the sensor on the door handle (confort access option)?
I tried but it didn't works. Maybe, something need to be coded ?
Any updated will be appreciated

One of their sales representatives told me that unfortunately the Power Trunk retrofit is not compatible with F32s. It is only available for BMW F30, F10 and M3 F80. I am disappointed but hopefully it will come one day.

Installed the power trunk on my 340 a week ago. I like the feature. The one thing that annoyed me was the 2 button power trunk switch supplied. It has a non functioning lock button. I have comfort access and it would have been a nice feature having the button lock the car when pressed. Contacted Bimmertech and they replied saying:

For now, the button is inactive, but when we have it our R&D team plans to activate it in the future and make it work like it works in the OEM power trunk. So once you press it the trunk will close and lock the doors.

This power trunk retrofit has been around for 10 years so I don't have confidence this will be revised on the F3x platform. Having a non functioning lock button didn't sit well with me visually so I took a chance and ordered the genuine BMW one button power trunk switch which was the same size dimensionally as the Bimmertech BMW knockoff. Fitment is perfect and plug n play with the Bimmertech connector.

Interested in this retrofit but at $800+ I am good at putting the money elsewhere unless there is another vendor that sells this at a much more reasonable price.
