how did you decide on 320? went from M3 to 550 to 135 to 328? i feel like i would have trouble moving to smaller engines...

It was value and economy for my commuter car.

I am keeping my E46 M3 with manual trans for when I am feeling squirrely.

I had my 135i before my M3, then got my 550i, once I bought my M3, the 550i just rarely seemed useful. My first was a 325 with comparable hp, torque and weight to the 320 and I never thought that car was too slow for my commute.

Details:
My 2002 325i was 3219 pounds, 184 hp and 175 ftlb torque.
The 320i is 3295 pounds, 180 hp and 200 ftlb torque.

I have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Just did a similar thing...

Stayed at Linder Ferienpark for a week, it was a 2 minute drive to the ring and was awesome!

Also...

If you like art, not only is the Koons art car at the BMW museum but there is a Gerhardt Richer exhibition in Baden-Baden!

You also should check out the Classic Remise if you like cars.
