Photoshoot of my 2015 Mineral Grey 335i xDrive Performance Edition

Finally got some time to take some shots of my new 15 335i xdrive Performance Edition. Car was lowered by Dinan springs and H&R spacers. Enjoy the pics.

Sooo clean.

I've been debating on Dinan vs H&R springs. The Dinan look like they are the perfect ride height. How do you like them so far? What are the specs on the spacers?

I truly believe that Dinan designed the springs to match the stock shocks. The ride is very OEM like just a bit stiffer but not always noticeable. I have installed Eibach springs in the past on my other cars but have mixed experience. I would say it is as good as you can get with just springs, and ride height is perfect to me as the car is a daily drive.

Spacers are 13F and 15R.

Saw this post on my phone and immediately thought to myself, this must be Vancouver lol (this was before i read that you were in Vancouver).

Was your car a phase 1 or phase 2 car?
The colour looks very similar to my car, but my car is definitely sparkling graphite and not mineral grey (mine is a phase 1 M performance Edition from early 2015). Regardless, our cars are like twins hahaha...Makes me wish i kept the 403's I had for a winter set.

Those 403M's look awesome on that car though. Are you using those as your winters? Did you get 624's or 405's as your stock 20s?

The Dinan springs provide what I think is also a perfect drop on the xdrive. I went the route of H&R sport and also feel that the small drop is perfect. I really could not go any lower (nor do I think you could) without scraping the front lip left and right. I know that I'm already having to be super careful coming out of alleys, going in and out of parking lots, etc and I still scrape at least once a week. Nothing major, but it still sucks to hear the bottom of the lip kiss the concrete. Vancouver roads are brutal!

Oh and the pictures look fantastic!

The car looks great! Nice pics too! The height on Dinan springs really look good. I'm now looking into springs and spacers. Did you get the Dinan bump stops also? How's the ride?

Yes. I know many people said the bump stop is not needed, but if that's what Dinan recommended, the additional cost is minimal to me.

Don't you remember selling me the 403m?
The car came with the 20" 405m. The 403m is for winter.

Nice ride! E30toF30 and I actually have twins - both F30 sparkling graphite M Perf Edition's versus your mineral grey. I'm biased, but I think we won on exterior colour, but your 405M wheels are the nicer wheel option over the 624M's in my opinion.

I installed the Dinan springs and bump stops a couple of weeks ago. Mine doesn't look as low as yours though. Did you for sure get the xDrive springs?? Maybe it's just the optics of the spacers pushing the wheels out.

Do you have plans to get the Dinan Shockware? I tried having the EDC flash done just before I did the suspension install, but the flash wouldn't take. Apparently I'm only 1/8 cars that can't be flashed with Shockware out of over 800 cars in North America that have it. Dinan has no idea why yet. I'd be curious if another M Performance Edition car had the same trouble.
