Yes, its a BMW part so won't affect the warranty.

What are you supposed to do with the electronic valve actuator once you remove it off the stock exhaust? Is there a plug that just disconnects the actuator and you just leave it off the car? I'd assume that if you disconnect it or remove it that it would cause a CEL code?

I wrapped the connector and tucked it away. It doesn't trigger a CEL.

Okay, thanks. Now that it's broken in, how much louder is it over stock? Since it's not valved, how is it for casual driving, is it still loud when you're just cruising or is it somewhat tame until you get to the higher RPMs?

The stock exhaust has a valve in the driver's side exhaust pipe (near the tip) to make it quieter. The MPE for our 340i don't have that valve. The MPE that was sold for the F30 335i did.
