It will work.
This changed from UGODE 2018 because it is firmware from AVIN and they use code 1314

I can confirm that after the 20/09/2018 update, the music player has problems with the mp3 with a dot "." in the name and put "unknown" in the artist and album fields... I downgraded back to the 20/09 update.

untis with PX3 cortex-A9 2GB ram android 7.1
or units with PX6 cortex-A72 2GB ram android 8.1 .

note : I use google maps mainly alot

Guys hat anybody add aftermarket front camera?
My just arrived this morning and I will be installing this weekend.
How are your experiences?
on the first page on the issue list says that camera is not switch automatically to front after reverse...
Maybe if I set camera setting to 360 and connect trigger from front to 360...

well the seller sent me an mcu update file the second time , and it worked. Plus ive force stopped the file explorer, cause every time it launches first when the usb is inserted, dont know if that was the issue, but it worked for me. Can share the mcu if anyone needs it. its for e60 ccc unit

Can you describe your units parameters? Display size, resolution, memory size etc.
What was the MCU update for btw?
Does your display still dims when you turn on your lights?

Accidently I've deleted the files in the OEM directory by formatting the SD card. I'm missing 4 files now:
- cartype.xml
- factory.xml
- filter.txt
- mapApkLst.txt
Could anyone please provide a copy?

It's Android 8.1 on a CIC.

Hi does anybody know how to stop the music app/apk from launching everytime I start car it’s getting really frustrating when you want only CarPlay to launch and music app opens up as well ☹️

How did you stop the file explorer? It has started to pop up in front randomly on my device. I can only guess its thinking the carplay adapter as a memory card (as it is only usb device connected). I could not find anywhere in its settings a place where I could disable this feature.

Hi Guys,
I've managed to install the MCU update on my device too.
Workes perfectly now. No screen dimming anymore.
Thanks to dlock for sharing the MCU update file.

Install instructions:
1. Copy the file to the root directory of an empty usb stick (max. 32gb)
2. Connect the USB stick once the unit finished the bootup.
3. Close the file explorer with back arrow twice.
4. Go to Settings/System info/Mcu-Upgrade
5. Upgrade
6. Enjoy!

You have AVIN unit or UGODE ?
Because I did not succeed to install it.
I have UGODE unit.

I asked some time ago my seller in Aliexpress if they could share latest Android and MCU. No response... Anyway, here in this thread we've had quite many updates and I hope it keeps going like that.

This thread has literally saved me already multiple times.

In specs of your unit says that it has radio tuner.
Is that true?
